chapter 7

Victoria's pov

What the hell is going on?!?! There were many shouts and cheering everywhere. My eyes widened at the crowd that surrounded me.

" Viiiiic.......! " someone shouted from the crowd and I knew by the voice itself that it was Diana's. The party had started and people were dancing and chatting everywhere with the music so loud. My eyes searched for her and finally found hers from where I could see her excitement.

She was dressed in a black shorts and white top with Bitches written in a heart.

" what's going on Diana, why would you do that? " I asked her. I didn't realise that someone was now standing beside me, I turned to see Aiden with his annoying smirk.

I just glared at him and Diana, and was about to scold Diana when he interrupted, " It was all my plan to bring you here. " he smiled smugly.

Anger fueled me up as I took a threatening step towards him, " And why would you do that? I was running here n there like someone crazy, wearing nothing sensible and came here when I heard you were......." I trailed off as I realised just what I was about to say. Suddenly the space between us seemed too less for my comfort.

My breathing sped up as he looked into my eyes with something strong in them, but none the less decided to ignore it. I'm sure my heart would have popped out of my body if it weren't my ribs.

"You would have said no of I would have just asked you, wouldn't you? " he asked in a husky voice that sent shivers down my spine. Before I could think of an escape, Diana scoffed purposely and said, "Ok Aiden that's enough, she came now, right? So why don't you go to your friends and let me have fun with mine. " she smiled an overly sweet smile. Aiden just nodded at her, his eyes still fixed on mine. He slowly moved out of my personal space and I breathed a sigh of relief I didn't know I was holding. He turned back and winked at me before turning back towards his friends.

I turned my gaze away from him and like at Diana. That's when I remembered and I rolled my eyes after seeing her puppy face. She took hold of my hands and took me to her room. Her room was just as cozy as mine. She turned around and said
"Hey, I'm sorry to do that, okay?"

I just rolled my eyes and said, "Yeah, sure you are." I knew her very well, who was she lying ? Just as if she knew that I knew that she wasn't, she broke out in laughter and I just waited for her to stop.

After she had sobered up from the laughter, she said, " Hey, I bought you some outfits you could try out now, since you had to ' run madly ' over to my place, just to comfort me." Her puppy eyes boring into mine. Again, I just nodded an ' okay '.

My outfit turned out to be almost as same as hers, only that my top had 'Best ' written in a heart and a blue jeans shorts. So whenever we would be together, it will look like ' Best Bitches ' altogether.

I loved it. I hugged her, it was just so cute. " Diana, this is awesome. I love it...! " I exclaimed. She looked at me and smiled a huge smile.

Then we went out together and I could recognise the music as No - By Megan Trainor........ I looked at her and saw that she was already looking at me with same excitement.

The next second we were dancing, joining the crowd. Man.... we danced like crazy, swinging our hips and doing those crazy moves. None of the songs were missed. We finally got tired so thought of taking a break.

I went towards her kitchen to grab some punch , when I bumped into somebody. I looked up and saw Aiden.

" Hey. What are you doing here? I mean in the kitchen? " he asked.

" Nothing, just wanted some punch." I said and moved to go but he blocked me by moving on the same side, then I tried the other side, but again he did the same, I looked up and saw him smirking at me. " What? " I snapped. " Would you like to dance with me? Of course after you have your punch." He said, no, no, no, " I'll think about it. I'm tired so......." I said and moved him aside.

I then went to the kitchen and got myself some punch. Just as I turned from the counter, I gasped as Aiden was just standing behind me. " what the! Stop behaving like a creep Aiden." I placed my hand on my chest to bring down my heartbeat to a normal level. He took slow steps towards me and I took big steps backward and soon I was trapped between him and the counter, he grinned looking at my horrified face. He came closer and closer until were only inches away," Why....? Do I affect you? " he leaned down, our noses brushing each other. I pulled back, "I think you are thinking too high on yourself. " I smiled and got out hold.

I had my punch and went back to Diana who was talking to someone familiar, Nick. I looked at him and smiled and he did the same, " Hey Vic... " he said. I replied him and asked Diana to come and dance with me, " I'm done for today, Vic. Why don't you take Nick with you? " she said smirking at me.

I looked over at Nick and he gave me a nod before taking me to dance. I noticed that Aiden was staring at me intensely. I ignored him and started moving to the beat, it was fun dancing with Nick. He was cracking jokes even though we were dancing. It was all jokes,giggles,dance and music before .......

The music slowed down so now everybody were getting cozy. I looked at Nick , he just looked at me before coming close, keeping a hand above my waist and grabbing my hand, he pulled me closer. It was uncomfortable, he started moving, eventually making me move. The more the got slow, the more he got close. I tried to make some space between us, but he pulled me even more close. Now I was struggling to get out of his hold when someone separated us forcefully........

" Dammit ! Stay away from her..! " I heard someone say, I turned around and saw an angry Aiden, very angry. He pushed Nick away from me and then punched him right in his left eye, making him fall on the ground .

" Arghh....! " Nick exclaimed and got up to punch Aiden. He punched Aiden under his jaw , that made him stumble back. Then he got up and was going to punch when I decided to stop it. I got between them and almost got punch by him if he hadn't stopped.

" Stop, stop it both of you! " I shouted at both of them, but they were acting as if I wasn't there and were glaring at each other. This is just too much, I have to get out of here.

I went from there, not sparing any look to them. I was about to open the main door to leave when someone closed it from behind me. I turned around to see Aiden glaring at me.

" I'm dropping you. " he said.

" No, thank you. " I gave him a sarcastic smile and was opening the door when he again closed it.

" what are- " I couldn't complete my sentence as he closed the gap between us.

Was he.....was he...kissing me?!
