chapter 12

Victoria's POV

On me, I felt something hard pressing me on the floor. My left leg hurts from the impact.

"Oops. " he said. I look up to see Aiden's scrunched up face and giggled. I don't know why but seeing him like that looked really funny, his clueless face changed into a confused one. He attempted to get up but failed as his hand slipped and he came down straight towards my face.

My eyes widened whereas his stayed fixed on my face, slowly he looked at my lips. My breath hitched and I gulped down as my throat felt dry.

His hand moved to cup my face. I don't know why but soon I could feel the moisture in my eyes, my heart beating a mile per second wasn't helping at all. The old memories came in the back of my mind.

I placed a hand on his on his chest to stop him from coming any further. If we kissed now, I'm definitely not going to move on from him for a long time. His eyes got darker with lust but soon became normal when he noticed my glossy eyes.

He got up as if he had just got a shock and helped me get up. We were just staring at each other when Diana came screaming and running at me and hid behind me.

" Hey, wh-what's going on? " I asked, confused.

" David hasn't caught me yet, and also I threw sauce over him again when he tried to hit me with an egg!! " she said and I laughed.

" This time I won't miss though!! " I looked ahead to see David with an evil smirk plastered on his face. He came running towards me and I was about to run when his leg slipped and he fell straight on his face. Ouch!

"Aarrgh...!! " he exclaimed as he rubbed his nosed. He looked pained, so Diana went running towards him to pick him up.

Seeing them together, I looked at Aiden and saw him already looking at me, cautiously, as if I was gonna pounce on him. I looked back at David and saw him wink at Aiden as Diana helped him get up. I just rolled my eyes but couldn't help the smile that formed at my lips.

We were in Diana's room, the boys later decided to join us and watch a movie.

During the movie I kept taking quick glances at Aiden without him noticing me. I was looking at the T. V. but my mind was somewhere else. I think I should ask him why, why he cheated on me. Why he said all those words that he never meant. And why does he care for me suddenly now?!

He looked at me and saw me already looking at him. After a long stare I gesture him outside the room and he nods.

Everybody was busy watching the movie, so none of them noticed.

I can't help but let nervousness take over me. What if he makes fun of you? I shook my head, no he won't. I know him this well to know that he won't take it as a joke.

I was so busy in my thoughts that I didn't notice him enter the room and close the door. I looked at him and he did the same. Yup, I should go for it.

" I wanted t-to ask you something. " I said looking at my feet.

" What? " he said looking at me. I wasn't staring at him but I still knew that he was.

I finally look up into his eyes and ask slowly, as though each word was killing me bit by bit.

" Why, why did you cheat on me that day? Please Aiden tell me, wasn't the only one whom you liked? Or was I just some girl you were playing with? This question has been killing since then Aiden, why-" before I could complete he interrupted.

" YOU ARE ASKING ME?! I did not cheat you. You were the one who cheated me, I saw you and Mason that day... " his voice croaked and he at the window.

" You idiot! I didn't kiss him that day, he forcefully kissed me that day. I slapped him and ran away from there to search for you. I thought that when I'll tell you about him..... You will defend me......... But then I saw........ I saw you with Catherine, YOU WERE KISSING HER! I couldn't see it anymore, and so I ran away from that place. "

" Mason first came to tell me that he knows that you were cheating on me for that wh**e , Catherine. So I slapped him but instead he forcefully tried to kiss me. HE kissed me, I didn't even kiss him back, I was so angry and then.... " I couldn't complete, I just couldn't. By that time I was literally crying in front of him.

He just stared at me for a second before coming and hugging me. I tried to push him away but it was of no use, he wouldn't even budge. My knees gave out and now, the only reason I was standing is because Aiden was holding me by my waist.

" I.... I'm so sorry, Vic. I'm so stupid, I should've trusted you. When I saw you with him..... I thought you we're cheating on me and then Catherine came and.... Aargh..!! I'm so sorry, so sorry. " he pulled me close to him and hugged me tight.

I could feel some burden in my heart lifted. A smile made it's way to my lips as I registered whatever he said in my mind. I was petrified..!

I can't believe this is really happening. But should I forgive him? Can I trust him to not hurt me after all this? I don't know but I'm not going to waste my time thinking about these things now. I just want this feeling of warmness that I'm getting from him.

" Ahem ahem... " someone made a noise and we both broke apart and looked at the two idiots grinning at us.

Looking at David and Diana I thought, I'm definitely going to ship them...

I looked at Aiden and saw him staring at the ground, his ears were a bit red.

Oh my God.... Aiden knights blushes too...! That's something new as you can't expect a blush from someone as shameless as him. Ha! Just kidding.
