Chapter 10

Victoria's POV

As always, I woke up half grumbling to myself. The weather seemed to be pretty warm today, so I ended up wearing a stripped black and white blouse and a floral skirt that reached just an inch above my knees.
Yup, I do wear skirts at times...! You can call me moody.

Unfortunately , Aiden didn't come today to pick me up. I have to admit that , that made me a tiniest bit disappointed. But my mood enlightened just as soon as I saw Diana pull up her car in front of my house.

" Missed me baby? " she asked with a grin, I just rolled my eyes but even I couldn't help but laugh and get in the car.

" Obviously babe. I did, but I'm not sure whether I missed you or your car.......... " I said,and she made a face, sticking her tongue. Talking about matureness here... And seeing her pull out her tongue, I did the same. Yup best friends , you see.

" What song do you wanna hear? " I asked , even though it's always me who decides which song to play. I looked at her and wriggled my eyebrows.

" What about that new song Cheap Thrills by Sia ?" She suggested, I nodded and played it.

By the time we arrived at the parking of the school, the song had already been changed to one of the One Direction's - What Makes You Beautiful. The parking was half empty as we were early so we decided to hang around a bit.

" Why don't we get something to drink? " Diana suggested after sometime. It's not that I wanted to say a no, but......

" Okay " I said and so we did.

I bought a strawberry milkshake and she got choco-chip one.

We were just sipping on our drinks when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around to see who it was, Nick. I could feel that Diana too got tensed beside me. Yes, I had told her everything on our way to school.

" Hey Vic, you came pretty early to school. Eager to meet me? " he said that with a ugly cocky grin. Ugh, so unlike Aiden's grin. Wait, what?!

" Nope, " I said that by popping the 'P' letter "More of a, eager to meet Aiden" Why did I even say that, but I guess it was worth it as Nick's face got pretty much red here, but then he grinned. What is it with people ( or rather just him) and grinning today?

He came closer to me until there was only an inch's space between us. I took a step back to create some space but he beat me to it and soon his hot breathe tickled my skin near earlobe.

" I'll see you later Vic. Meet me after school at your locker. Bye " He said that in a deep voice, that made me shiver.

Before I could react, someone pulled him off me and I was so grateful to whoever did that. I exhaled my breath I didn't know had held in so far.

I looked around to see that there was a red mark on his face. Of course ! Diana. Nick felt humiliated and left, not before nodding towards me reminding me about our meeting.

" Diana ! Do you know how much I love you? "And without even looking up, I grabbed her in for a tight hug , but something was wrong. The person I, apparently was hugging had tensed muscles and quite good abs, wait abs?!?!

I moved away to see who it was. Well, I inwardly relaxed as it was no one but Aiden, but now that I was in front of him, we both could feel the awkwardness here.

I looked up and saw him staring down at me with something blooming in his eyes, but soon it went in a flash.

" Ahem, ahem, I guess we're getting late for the class. Aiden, we'll see you later, okay? " Diana grabbed my hand took me out of the small crowd I didn't know we had gathered.

My lectures were really very boring today. It's a miracle I didn't sleep in the class. The lunch break was coming nearer and nearer , making my palms sweat more and more.

The bell rang, ending up my last lecture. Diana was there with me for the first two lectures , but the past three lectures were me being with Rosanna, she is really smart , cute and has specs.

Wiping out my sweat on my skirt ( I know, gross) I walk out of the room, to the cafeteria.

Reaching there I searched for Diana and saw her talking to David ( Aiden's best friend ). They both looked so cute together, not that they are in relationship but, yeah even as friends. I don't think David likes her like that......... But still. Sometimes I feel he has something for her.

Anyways, proceeding towards them I grabbed a seat in front of Diana. That's when they noticed me. Diana looked at me and smiled her megawatt smile. Is something wrong with my face?
I touched my cheeks to check , "Nothing is wrong with your face Vic, its just me going crazy, laughing at this idiot's jokes. " Diana said and slapped playfully at David's head.

I sighed in relief and relaxed back in my chair. After I guess five minutes someone sat beside me. All eyes on the table looked at him ( including me) .

" What? Do I have something on my face? " he said starting touching his cheeks. I looked at Diana and Diana looked at David and David looked at me. Then all of a sudden we all were laughing our asses off, getting glances from every table near us.

Aiden was currently giving us glare that first made David shut up, then Diana and then me. Silence.

" Hahahahahahaha..... " David again burst out again so did we. Aiden just rolled his eyes and face palmed himself.

" Fine, whatever. Vic," he looked at me and said, " What did Nick tell you this morning? "

" N-nothing " I muttered. He just gave me a long stern look before shrugging it off.

" I'm getting a Coke for myself, anybody wants something? " He asked while getting up from his chair.

" Nope. "

" No dude. "

"Nope. "

The school got over and as planned, I went to my locker. I had asked Diana to go home, as usual she wasn't listening to me but I somehow managed to get her out. At first, I looked around for Nick but couldn't find him. It was already 5 pm, so I had to get home before mom does....

" Hello there. " Nick called from behind me. I just gave him a blank look.

" Come on, Vic. Don't be so rude. I'm sorry for that day. " he came closer to me and I moved back.

" You should be. There, it's done. I'm going, nice talking, bye. " I said and started walking towards the exit, when he grabbed my arm and pushed, so now my back was flat against the locker and I was trapped between his hands as he put them on both sides of my shoulder.

" I'm not finished yet. You might be acting in front of everyone else Vic but not me. I know you like me and you want me too. " He said, getting closer and closer.

Anger was something that was burning through my veins right now. I pushed him away with all my force and slapped him right on his cheek. Ha! There you go!

He looked at me, first surprised but then his fists tightened and I think he is going to hit me. Oops .

"Don't you dare come closer to me ever again. " I spat it in his face.

He came in long strides and his fist came flying towards my face. I shut my eyes, not wanting to feel the impact.

I waited for a few seconds but did not feel the hit. Slowly opening my eyes, I looked at the scene in front of me.
Oh no......

Aiden was standing right behind Nick. His eyes were literally burning with anger.

I really don't like where this is going.....
