Victoria's pov :

As promised, the ride to school with Aiden was peaceful. He did not speak much, but just kept glancing at me very now and then...

We reached school, and I was about to open mg door but, he was faster and got to my side to open the door for me as a ' gentleman ' he was. People kept giving us stares which really did kinda freak me out. Boys were eyeing us again and again and girls kept giving me death glares.

But I ignored them all. Who cares ! I don't think I do.
I saw Catherine coming or rather striding towards us, while giving me a death glare. I just rolled my eyes and walked to my locker.

"Hey Aiden, didn't know you went to pick up her instead of me today?" She said
"Listen Catherine, I'll just speak to you later ,ok ? And by the way, Diana was sick so she told me to pick her up. "

I just ignored their conversation as I was not interested in it.

"No it's okay Aiden, I have to go, bbye." I said not waiting for his reply.

My first two lectures were just too boring. I somehow managed not to sleep in class. I was just packing up my bag when I felt a tap on my shoulder, I turned around to see Aiden smile at me, a genuine smile.

Aiden's pov

The day before the school reopens...

We were all gathered to enjoy our last day of school at my place. Nick, Jake, David and me, we were going to watch the football match.

Well, but the match went quite good and then we were out to restaurant near my house. That's when we saw Victoria and my sis, Diana. The boys started taking about Vic, whereas David just kept staring at Diana. I mean....

"Whose that chick with your sis man? " Nick said.

"Yeah, who is she? She looks hot.." Jake said.

Nick and Jake had just joined the school but we were neighbours before so didn't know about me and Vic.
I just glared at them at which they sure looked confused. How dare they call her chick and all that....assholes.
Getting possessive about her? A voice inside my head said.

No way! I can't have feelings for her after all that she did to me. No way.

"I'd like to date for that body man... I mean look at her. Hey Nick, what do you think? " Jake said.

" no I'll have her." He said, " what are you thinking Jake , you can't have a girl just like that, you have to impress her first. And I bet, I'm better at that. " Jake said.
Now that was it, I could no longer contain my anger. I banged my fist on the table which got their attention towards me . I pointed my finger towards both of then and said,"None of you are going to do anything like that, got it? "Anger was audibly visible in my voice which made them shut up.

"Okay, man. " he held his hands up in a surrendering way,"Hey do you have a thing for her? " he asked.

It took me a while to answer his question, " No......"I said and was about to get up when David stopped me and showed me a ' calm down ' sign.

The rest of the lunch went silent with in between talks about girls. Nick, Jake and David were giving ranks to different girls, hot girls, I mean. I just kept in rolling my eyes, I am not that kind of guy who gives a shit about girls. It was just once, before that happened.

We had finished our lunch so we went back to our individual homes. By the time I reached home I was having many things going on in my head.

I don't think I should trust Nick, he would never listen to anyone. But what should I do to keep him away from her?

Why do you care? A subconscious voice uttered in my head. I don't know why........

I think I should go and talk to her, but would she talk with me? Would she even trust me again? I don't think so. I guess I will have to win her trust again, to keep her away from that idiot, yes I need to. But why? Because even if I.....if I hate her, I would never let that happen with her.

Ok, so it's decided, I will talk to her. Maybe start with friends?

Stop thinking about her, she left you, she cheated you, you shouldn't even care!

I was about to sit on my couch when the bell rang, I went to see who was it and to my no surprise it was Diana .I thought it was Catherine, She was behind me since a long time now, and I was just not interested in her except for maybe her figure, she had a hot body to admit. But no, that wouldn't get me any feelings for her other than maybe physical attraction. I had never seen Victoria's body , we weren't physically attracted towards each other, but more.....

I just rolled my eyes and let her in. Then I thought of asking her, "Hey Diana, tell Vic that I wanted to talk to her. "

I said and left her shocked.

The first day of the school....

Today was the first day of the school. I had already reached the school and was going towards my locker when I accidentally bumped into someone. My eyes stared at that person's feet, it was a girl I had bumped into, my eyes slowly went up and up and stayed on her boobs, I was about to remove my gaze feeling awkward as I just checked out on a girl's b**bs , when she snapped at me, "Eyes up here!? " my eyes immediately rose up to her face to meet hers, Victoria. I smirked knowing that I had that same effect on her that got her nervous. She just glared at me and went away after taking out her books from the locker.

Later that day....

All of us were supposed to meet at that new cafe around the street. I was just about to leave when Catherine came from behind and put her arms around my waist, I turned around to tell her to stop when she stood on her tiptoes and kissed me, the felt like nothing, just nothing. Disgusted, I broke the kiss and said, "Catherine you need to stop doing this, I told I'm not interested in you. "

"Sweetheart, who are you waiting for then? That Victoria who left you, cheated? " she said in the most sickeningly sweetest way.

There was no point in arguing with her , so I just asked her to come with me to the cafe.

I opened the door the door of the cafe and saw that Victoria and Diana , too were there. I saw Nick staring at her from across the table she was sitting in and that got me even more furious but just as i mat her gaze , an idea popped up in my eyes, not wasting a second i turned around and kissed Catherine with how much ever passion I could.

I stopped and turned to see Vic's reaction and got irritated as she just had a blank expression on her face before continuing talking Diana.

I went to sit with my friends, where Nick again got me pissed off by continuous comments on Vic.

I saw her her get up and thought that maybe I should go ahead with what I was thinking yesterday. I got up and went towards her. She saw me from the corner of her eyes and paced faster towards the counter. She was about to turn when her leg slipped and next second I was holding her.

She opened her eyes after realizing it was me. I was feeling some sparks deep underneath me I didn't know existed. I wanted to just have her sweet pink lips right at that time there. I wanted to brush that thought off, so I just let go of her and she fell down on her butt. Oops... " That hurt you idiot! " she said.

I didn't know why but then again I picked her up after I had controlled my thoughts and put her down on a chair.
I couldn't answer her any questions if she would have asked so I went back to my group as if nothing happened.

By Eve I had decided to make her friends with me by any means, I wouldn't let him get her, I mean he is not worth her.

And that's just what I did.

PRESENT TIME....

I saw her packing up her bags and smiled in relief that she was alone.

I was about to talk to her when I felt someone  tap on my shoulder, and when I turned around to see who it was..... well eventually my smile faltered.

It was Nick.
