Jay's POV
When the bottle finally stopped, I followed the path from the tip of it to the person it had landed on. My eyes were guided to a guy sitting there laughing. I didn't know why, but he seemed to be having the most fun out of anyone here.
He had brown hair underneath a green beanie that settled just above his green eyes. When he smiled, I noticed his bright blue braces that made his smile look even bigger than it already was. He looked over at me, and my eyes shot straight down. I have to kiss him? Him?
His laughter stopped but his stare continued to burn into me. He suddenly stood up and said something that plunged a knife through my stomach: "We're going to take this to the closet."
He smirked and the crowd seemed extremely pleased. I was grabbed and pulled up by my arm by the dude, and he laughed at my terrified expression. I think he said "It's okay," but I don't listen very well when I'm terrified.
He shut the door of the closet, let my arm go, and let out an excited sigh. Is this kid crazy or something?
"Ready?" he looked at me and smiled. Then he started lightly pushing himself against the door, rattling it a little bit.
Backing away to the other side of the small closet, I stared at him as he started moaning and making sex noises, then he let out a giggle-he couldn't keep control of himself. Yep, he's crazy.
I tried not to smile because this was supposed to be an extremely scary moment for me.
"I'm just giving them what they want." He gave me a warm smile, and I actually smiled back because I realized he was just trying to help me out. I opened my mouth to ask what his name was, but he quickly interrupted, saying that we should both mess up our hair to make it all a little more convincing.
He laughed at my attempt at a smile as I dreadfully tousled my hair. He did the same, except he seemed to be having much more fun with it. Swinging open the closet door, he smiled hugely and gave a thumbs-up, and guys punched him arm and girls giggled. I don't think anyone noticed when I came out behind him and sat back down in the circle.
The rest of the party was a blur, mostly because the only reason people talked to me was to ask about my closet time with Drake. Yeah, that was his name. I made a home out of the corner of the living room walls. I pulled my knees up and tilted my head back against the wall, letting out a sigh. I absolutely hated that game. It could have been worse, though.
I found myself thanking fate for setting me up with Drake-at least I didn't actually have to kiss a stranger, or do anything more in this case.
It was one in the morning when people finally started leaving. I blinked a few times, realizing I had begun to fall asleep. Once my vision focused in, I noticed Drake was still laughing about some joke he was sharing with a couple of girls and two guys. Hm.
After slowly rising, I searched for my sister. One of her girl friends stopped me in the hallway and told me she headed home because she was feeling sick. I asked her if it was alcohol, and she shrugged and looked away. I guess I'm walking home.
