So the drive to wherever this mystery man (yes, I still don't know his name) was taking us was quiet, tense, and just plain awkward. Leo never left my side, Max and Dylan were sitting just looking at the floor, Olivia and Jonny were tensed up, and Adrian looked like he wanted to bolt and never look back. Myself? On the outside I looked bored and disinterested. On the inside, though, I was freaking out. Adrian tried to kill me and now I was going with the man who ordered him to do so. I mean what was so special about me?

"You're just going to love The Empire." The man said suddenly, breaking the silence.

"I'm going to love the organization that tried to kill me? Yeah, that makes sense." I said sarcastically, rolling my eyes as well.

"We tried to kill you purely for the sake of humanity." He explained.

"I'll believe that when pigs fly." I snipped immediately. I heard Leo snicker, but he covered it up with a cough. I also saw Olivia and Jonny crack smiles.

I didn't get a response out of him, only a glare. So, naturally, I had a smug smile on my face.

About 15 minutes later, we pulled up to this huge, steel compound type building. Much more impressive than our base, but don't let him know that. Our little secret.

The truck came to a stop and the un-named man led us out into the open. None of us spoke, we just followed him through a large door into the building. Inside was massive. There was at least 30 foot ceilings with overhanging lights and concrete walls.

"Wow." The word tumbled out of my mouth before I even realized it.

"Yes it is." The nameless guy said. "Now if you would follow me, I'll show you to-"

"Wait." I cut in.

"What?" He asked slightly impatiently.

"You have yet to introduce yourself. What the hell is your name? 'Cause if you don't tell is I'm just gonna call you He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named, but then you'll have that whole Voldemort thing going on and you are just not that cool." I quipped.

My little comment got laughs out of everybody and Lord Voldemort here glared at me, so naturally I crossed my arms and smirked at him. He may be able to take me away from my home, but he has to know...I'm not a force to be reckoned with. Even more so with my friends here.

He just continued to glare at me in silence. "You gonna give me an answer, Voldy?" I pressed.

"Seth." He said, his voice emptied of all emotion.

"Alright, Seth." I said mockingly.

"You better watch your mouth, kid. You're in my house now." He hissed, completely throwing me off guard. Up until now he's had that sickeningly sweet persona about him and now he's cold and threatening.

"Whoa. Bipolar much?" I said before I could even think about what I was saying. Seth's eyes narrowed into thin slits. I was taken aback by his menacing look.

"What did I tell you about your mouth?" He sneered. His once gentle expression replaced with an evil one.

I -- Bridget, leader of The Cure-- was genuinely terrified of this man. So terrified in fact, that when he moved towards me, I took a step back. He continued his advance towards me and I took more steps back...until I looked at my friends who were shaking in their boots as well. I stopped dead in my tracks and faced Seth. I wasn't going to let him push me around any longer. I have to show my group that he's not our leader. I am. And they answer to me. Not him. How would they ever respect me or take me seriously, when here I am running scared?
