Two Weeks Later
I awoke the next morning in Sirius's arms. I yawned and opened my eyes. Sirius was still asleep breathing softly. I quietly got up and walked tiredly downstairs. I made myself a coffee and began making pancakes for Sirius and I. As I was flipping a pancake over I felt arms snake around my waist.
"Good morning beautiful." Sirius's whispered gently in my ear.
I smiled and turned around to face him.
"Good morning handsome." I kissed him quickly and then pulled back.
"I've made pancakes." I said turning to the stove to find it smoking and the pancakes a near black colour.
"Or not."
Sirius chuckled, "We could just get Kreacher to make us something?" He suggested.
I rolled my eyes playfully, "I'm not lazy."
Sirius grinned, "I'll be right back." He pecked my cheek and walked quickly back up the stairs. I smiled and turned back to the stove and chucked the pancake in the bin.
A screech came from behind me and an owl swooped in, dropped a letter on the table and flew out again. It was addressed to me. I opened it.
'JAMES PROPOSED! I SAID YES! Can we meet up this afternoon 2:00PM?'
I squealed in delight, "SIRIUS COME QUICK!
Sirius ran into the room his wand raised, "What's wrong?" He asked puffed.
I laughed, "Nothing's wrong silly, Lily and James are getting married!"
Sirius broke into a smile, "So she said yes then?"
"You knew! You knew he was going to propose and you didn't tell me?" I pouted my lower lip.
Sirius chuckled, "I knew you'd go off at me. James said that I couldn't tell anyone though."
I shook my head amused, "And I thought he trusted me."
Sirius kissed my forehead smiling.

"Katie! Over here!" Lily called.
I walked towards the redhead who sat on the park bench.
"Hey Mrs Potter." I teased.
She laughed, 'We're not married yet."
"Congrats Lils." I pulled her into a hug.
"Thanks." She blushed.
"So let me see the ring!" I demanded grabbing her hand.
There on the left hand, four fingers from the thumb sat a small silver ring. It had an emerald encrusted with diamonds around it.
"Beautiful." I breathed.
"Thanks. Hey Katie can I ask you something?"
I nodded, "Sure."
"Would you be my Maid of Honour?" She asked.
I smiled, "Oh Lily, I would love to be."

It's been a couple of weeks since I received Lily's letter, during that time, she, Alice, Marlene and I have been out shopping for dresses. Lily found her wedding dress; it was a simple white strapless gown with silver beads around the waist line (Lily: http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=99176941). Marlene Alice and I found our dresses too. They are all pale green, strapless and short with three small flowers at the top. (Girls: http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=99177077).
