I sighed and stroked my beautiful girl's soft head. Her eyes fluttered beneath her tiny eyelids and she squeezed my finger. I liked this. Mother and daughter time. Sirius was currently at home, 'supposedly' preparing the place, but knowing him, he's probably fast asleep at this very moment.

"So gorgeous" I cooed, gently rocking my sleeping Maia.

The lights flickered in the room and a gust of wind startled me. I looked around to the window and found it was tightly shut.

"Hello Katie". A high cold voice said from the shadows.

A chill travelled up my spine and I gulped, "Wh-who's there?" I stuttered, cuddling Maia close to my chest.

The figure stepped out into the light. I gasped.

Voldemort stood there in his long black robes, his pale skin glowing in the moonlight and his red eyes illuminated. This was the first time I had seen my father, obviously I have imagined what he looks like from stories and newspaper articles but never would I picture him looking so empty, so soulless.

"Surprised to see me?" He asked, walking closer.

I curled back into the bed, trying to distance myself from him, however, it didn't work as he came ever closer, to the end of my bed to be exact.

"What do you want?" I asked attempting a brave voice but it came out more as a frightened whisper.

"To see my granddaughter and daughter of course".

I scoffed; this was the man that left me when I was born so how could he say that? "Yeah right," I muttered.

"Now now," He tsked.

I slowly stood up from my hospital bed and dashed to the other side of the room to distance him from me and, more importantly, Maia.

Voldemort smiled, his rotten teeth exposed. He took out his wand and my eyes widened.

"Accio".

I felt Maia being forcefully dragged from my arms. I screamed and tried to catch her but she flew straight into his grasp. Maia woke at the movement and began to cry. Voldemort rocked her in attempt to calm her but she didn't. I silently prayed to the wizard gods not to let him harm her.

"Quiet!" He finally snapped "Silencio".

"Leave her alone, she is just a baby!" I snarled marching over to him no longer afraid.

He smirked, "Excellent, that's just want I wanted". He grabbed my wrist and I felt myself being sucked into darkness.

When we landed we were no longer at St Mungos but in a concealed room. There was a desk in the corner and bookcases surrounded us. There was a fireplace towards the back of the room and a large red sofa stood before it.

I turned to Voldemort, my father, about to confront him when I realised that his arms were empty.

"WHERE THE HELL IS MY DAUGHTER!" I screamed in his face.

"Oops". He shrugged.

I sought for my wand in my hospital gown (A/N don't ask me why she would have one in her gown :P) and pulled it out. I raised it to his neck threateningly, "Take me back. TAKE ME BACK NOW!" I shrieked, red sparks flew from my wand.

He just laughed coldly, "Oh Kathryn, you're just like your mother when you're angry. No need to worry, I left little Maia in her cot; she's fast asleep now".

"How can I believe that?" I spat.

He chuckled, "Guess you'll just have to".

He walked away from me and towards the desk. I took this opportunity to spin on the spot, to disapparated, but unfortunately I was met with a small buzz meaning the room was sealed with an anti-disapparation jinx. Voldemort spun around and flicked his hand. My wand was whisked from my hand and caught by him.
