It has been two years now since Sirius and I went on that date and looking back on it I still think it is the best so far. We have now been married for a year of bit and I am now in love with my name as Katie Black. He keeps going over about he is sorry that the name has such a horrible history but then I remind him that my previous last name was Riddle, which was even worse.

(A/N: Yes her previous name was Axel, because it was her adopted mother's last name, but technically her last name was Riddle...if that makes sense?)

I walked nervously into the kitchen where Sirius was attempting at cooking dinner, "Sirius?" I mumbled.

Sirius turned around and smiled, "Yes love?"

I breathed in, "Ithinkimightbepregnant." I gushed.

Sirius frowned, "Come again."

"I...I think...I might...be...preg...nant."

Sirius spluttered, "What? When? Where?"

I giggled slightly, "I'm...pregnant. Christmas Eve...I think. Here."

"Oooh..." Sirius realised and then grinned, "That's wonderful!" He exclaimed pulling me into a hug and swinging me around off my feet.

I smiled, "I thought you wouldn't take it so well."

Sirius stroked my cheek, "I guess I surprised you then?" He asked.

I grinned and nodded.

Sirius placed a hand on my stomach and waited, "I can't feel anything."

I rolled my eyes, "That. Would be because I'm only pregnant by a month and a bit."

Sirius's smiled returned to his face, "I knew that..." He chuckled.

I rolled my eyes again.

"Shall we celebrate?" Sirius asked walking to the kitchen cupboard and pulling out a bottle of red wine.

"Just a little bit." I answered as he poured me a glass.

I sipped at the wine.

"So when are you due?" Lily asked.

"The healer said around the 16th of July." I replied smiling.

Lily smiled, "Congratulations!"

I giggled, "When are you?"

"31st." She replied.

"Aw Congrats!"

She laughed "Well, James and I would like to talk to you and Sirius."

"SIRIUS!" I called into Lily's kitchen.

Sirius rushed out with James at his heels, "What's wrong, are you going into labour early?" He fretted.

I rolled my eyes laughing, "No, Lily said she and James wanted to talk to us."

"Oh." He sat down beside me and rubbed my back.

James sat behind Lily and rested a hand on her shoulder.

Lily smiled, as did James.

"We would've asked you earlier, but with Voldemort getting more powerful, everything has been hectic. Anyway we were wondering, if you would be our child's godparents when he or she is born?" Lily asked.

I smiled up at Sirius who was smiling too, "We would be honoured."

"I know it's a bit early and that, but anything could happen." James said.
