**december 27**
"Good morning, hun." Calum says raspily. I groan and turn over.
"Shut up." I mumble, into the pillow. After I say that, I feel Calum's arms wrap around my waist. Suddenly, I am thrown over Calum's shoulder.
"Calum stop!" I yell sleepily.
I feel my body bump up and down as Calum descends the stairs. I'm too tired to care right now. I had another sleepless night last night. I put my head up and see that I am now outside. Calum puts me down and shoves clothes into my hands and a makeup bag.
"You need to leave."
"Wha-"
"No questions. Just go to Alex's house or something." Calum says, pushing me into my car. I watch him quickly run into my house. Okay, cool. I sigh and drive away.
-
I arrive at Alex's house and go straight inside. Sure enough, Alex is standing straight in front of me, waiting for me. "Hello to you too." I say to him, immediately plopping myself down on his couch. "Calum sent me here." I tell Alex.
"I know." Alex says with a devious grin.
"Wait, how do you know?"
"Because Calum told me you were coming over." Alex informs me as if it was obvious. I roll my eyes and look at the time. It's three in the afternoon already. I slept that long? "You need to start getting ready at around five or five thirty." Alex tells me.
"Why?"
"What do you think you twat? Calum out of now where throws a dress, high heels, and a make up bag in your hands and tells you to leave the house and go somewhere. What do you think he's doing?" Alex says, as if I was supposed to know that. I dont know what Calum is doing. He seems to do this quite a bit. He seems to like surprising me when I'm not expecting anything.
"I swear to god, if that boy is doing a first date." I grumble.
Alex suddenly becomes extremely defensive. "Hey, what's wrong with first dates? First dates are cute and bring two lovers together!" He snaps at me.
"First dates really arent my thing." I snap back at Alex, imitating his tone of voice.
"Why are you like this with first da-" Alex stops himself and his eyes widens as if he just realized something. "This is about Bryan isnt it?"
I snap my head up and glare at Alex. "I've told you time and time again to never speak of him, you jerk." I snap at him, trying to hold in my anger.
Alex's facial expression and eyes soften and he sits next to me. "It is about him isn't it." Alex knowingly asks me, with a gentle voice. Alex may be a pain in the butt with many sarcastic comebacks, but he also has a really soft, caring, and loving side that not alot of people see from him.
I sigh. "Yeah, it is."
Bryan was my first boyfriend and my first serious relationship. We lasted two and a half years. It was only last year that I decided that I had to break it off with him. I still feel the pain. Heartbreak pain doesnt go away overnight. You feel that pain until you find someone else that makes you feel the same or even better. Bryan really made my first date something special; he made me feel so happy on our first date. The day of our first date, I had a really bad fight with my Mom; so bad to the point that it became physical. I came to Bryan crying and he took me out on a carriage ride. The carriage ride took us to my favorite restaurant, The Cheesecake Factory. After the Cheesecake Factory, we went to the pier to watch fireworks and we ended up sleeping on the beach. That night made me feel like I was loved. Bryan was my first love and first heartbreak. Everything reminds me of him now.
