Dedicated to _kira24 for making my day. Thanks for complimenting Callie.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My morning today began with my mother pulling the covers off me and ordering me to get out of bed.

I usually wake up late on Sundays and I got really annoyed at my mom for waking me up so early. Right now I was sitting at the dining table pouting rubbing the annoyance in my mother's face. And my mother was no less.

"Callie, you gonna stay like this all day."

I just look up at her, sending her a death glare but she doesn't seem to get it.

"I thought we'd go shopping today." She is trying to bribe me. She always does that. She also knows that I really love shopping. Even though half the time I'm only window shopping.

I focus on eating my muesli.

"Seriously, you get one day of the week with your mother and this is how you choose to spend it. By ignoring. I'm your mother for god's sake." She rolls her eyes at me.

I finally decide to answer her. "I'm not ignoring you, I'm just annoyed that I had to wake up early on a Sunday. It's just me being grumpy due to lack of sleep."

"Forgive me, my favorite daughter." My mother rolls her eyes.

"I'm your only daughter not to mention your only child." I deadpan.

"Ok my only child, we're going shopping today." My mother starts to clear the dishes.

"Sorry mom, Ashton's coming over." I apologize.

"Who is Ashton?"

"He is teaching me German." I answer my mom's question.

"Camille Adams, are you seriously bringing a boy over to the house. And here I thought that you might be suffering from some hormonal imbalance." My mom is elated.

OK, I accept that I did not have a romantic history, but I didn't get what the bid deal with Ashton was. First Alex and then my mother. Aren't mothers supposed to oppose boys coming over? Granted that my mother and I were close and she is like this all the time but I even got Jake at my house. And to add to it I even went on a friendly date with him. I swear if this continued then my brain would actually trick me into thinking that I liked Ashton. Which I seriously did not want.

"Mom he is just a friend. And I'm not suffering from hormonal imbalance." I reply to my mom.

Before my mother can reply, I run up to my room and decide to decide to decorate the wall. I start with the posters which I own. I really love music so all my posters are related to music. I have posters of several bands and sayings associated with music. Then I decide to decorate a corner which I fill with quotations and pictures of my family and a few snaps that I have from my last school. I also have a few photographs with Alex and Jake thanks to my Polaroid and I put them up as well. I am admiring my work when my mom calls me from downstairs. "Callie, Ashton's here."

"Coming mom." I reply before jogging downstairs.

I find Ashton sitting in the living room. He is wearing a T-shirt and has pulled on a button- down over it. Instead of the usual jeans he wears, he is wearing pants that end at his mid-calf. His vans finish the look. He looks good.

"Hii," I say walking up to him.

"Hey, I know that I'm not supposed to be here for another 30 minutes but I was getting bored. Is it alright?"
