Jenea was sitting on the couch, hugging her knees trying not to cry. 'you are worthless. no one loves you. you are a waste of space. no wonder no one likes you.' everything her mother told her in her rage. blaming her for her father leaving us, for my brother getting sick and dying, for her mother loosing her job. the tears started to flow freely. Mickey walked in humming. he looked at her with sad eyes and sat next to her.
"speak to me marshmellow." he said to her as he hugged her.
"m-my mother..."
"she did it again, didn't she?" Jenea nodded slowly as mickey sighed. it has become a frequent thing. "you can stay here for a while... i need to go do something real quick, ok?"
"a-alright" she said as she wiped her tears away. mickey kissed her forehead and left the lair. after about 20 minutes leo came out and took mickey's spot.
" you know, you really changed him. he is so much more mature now." she smiled slightly as leo chuckled. "but he still has his pranks... speaking of, were is he?"
"he had to go do something."
"do you know where he went? i need to talk to him." she shook her head and stared at the t.v. Transformers were playing so she became VERY imursed.
...
"NO MEGATRON! YOU BUTT! DONT TELL HIM THAT! OPTIMUS! WHAT THE FRAG!" she screamed at the television as mickey walked in with a wrapped present in his hand. he chuckled as she flailed her arms and laughed harder when she threw the pillow at the t.v. in her fangirling rage.
"enjoying yourself?" he asked her.
"no! megabutt turned optimus against the autobots! he is their leader! they NEED him!" she said with huge emphasis.
"well, when your done mabye you will want the presant i got you." she looked at him with a what-u-say look on her face. he took out the small rectangualar box and gave it to her while sitting down. she opened it and gasped.
"oh mickey, i love it!" she said as she took out the necklace. it was a thin sivler chain with a heart on it and in orange cursive it said 'my one and only'
"you do?"
"of course!" she said. he helped her put it on and she turned to hug him. he smiled and kissed her.
"how did i get so lucky?"
"you fell off of a roof while i was walking. that's how." she told him humoressly.
"oh yeah, i was sore for a week from that fall. but it was totally worth it." he said chuckling.
"how did you fall?"
"raph pushed me because i was teasing him about being scared of cockroaches." they laughed and fell off the couch. Jenea looked into mickeys eyes and smiled.
"i love you mickey."
"i love you too marshmellow."
