Raph looked at his three injured and unconscious brothers as his anger boiled to a new level.
"thats it, im going after shredder and-"
"and what raph, kill him? more like he will kill you." attana told him.
"but he-"
"no. not untill your brothers are awake."
"i dont even have to listen to you, your not splinter." he turned and walked towards the exit.
"raphael, please dont do this!" He ignored her. she ran up to him and grabbed his wrist. the whole time she knew him she never once touched him. he stopped when he realized she was holding his wrist. "please, raphael. i dont want you to get hurt." she said to him.
"attana, please..."
"raphael, if you do this, and you get killed, what will i tell your brothers?" he turned and looked at her. he grabbed her hand and gently pulled her close to him. "please stay here until your brothers get up..." he brought his face close to hers. he wanted so badly to kiss her.
"i... i cant." he pulled away and left the lair. attana looked at his retreating figure as he walked down the sewers. she felt tears rise in her eyes as she fought to keep herself from crying. she heard grunting and turned towards the sound as she saw Donnie get up.
"what happened...?"
"shredder almost killed you all. donnie... raph went after shredder and i couldnt stop him."
"i know, i heard most of it. i just couldnt get up. you go after him and-"
"no, donnie i dont know where he is going and im not trained in any form of fighting."
"then stay here and wait for leo and mickey to wake up. im going after him.
"but donnie-"
"just do it. someone needs to stop him."
"i..." she sighed and hung her head. "i know..."
