You grumbled as you looked over your homework again, walking through the sewers. You didn't even need to look where you were going since you know the way by heart.
"I swear, Mrs. Moylan does this to me on purpose. I can't write a paper like this in a week!" You hugged as you looked up, seeing your crush, Donatello, standing there amused. "Oh, hey D. What's up?"
"What are you grumbling about again?" He asked, slightly smirking.
"History paper..." you said with a sigh. He laughed a bit. "Hey, don't laugh at me!" You pouted at him. He gave you a gap tooth smile, making you blush. You love when he smiles like that, it is just so CUTE!
"I'm sorry, but I can't help it. Your just too cute!" He blushed when he realized he said that last part a bit. For a turtle that always thinks, he was foolish for not thinking before he spoke. You blushed a lot, smiling.
"Help?"
"Help." He offered his arm to you, which you gladly took. "Off to the lair! With a fair maiden at my side, we shall walk lightly for I have set out new traps." He said with a smile. You blushed more, still not used to his 'we are about to walk' speech. You giggled.
"We shall indeed my knight, and hopefully not get teased by you brother knights when we arrive." You responded, earning a laugh as you both started walking. When you two came to a platform he gently placed his hands on your waist and lifted you up, sitting you down on it, causing you both to be eye level. You saw him gulp a bit and blush as he looked into your eyes. You gasped ever so slightly through slightly parted lips. You swallowed a bit... then looked down as he looked away. He let go of you and climbed up as you stood. You felt a bit sad at the fact you two didn't kiss... then again he does love April. You realized you had forgotten that and felt a bit heart broken. 'Nope, no sad thoughts. Just happy. Just imagine the look on her face when you turn in your epic paper.' You thought, smiling as you two where greeted but the other turtles. Mikey tackled you into a hug, which you noticed Donnie seemed a bit upset at, Leo waved at you and turned back to his show, and raph just said 'sup' more focused to beating up the punching bag. April wasn't there so you and Donnie went into his lab while he helped you with your paper. You tried to stay focused on the paper as much as you could, and did pretty well. For about an hour it worked until you went to point something out and knocked over a beaker. You jumped and cursed slightly under your breath. "Oh, I'm sorry Donnie!" You said as you bent down and started picking up the pieces of broken glass. You waited for him to yell at you, but he didn't. You weren't paying attention and cut yourself. Donnie was by your side in a flash.
"Let me see." He said, taking your (y/s/c) hand into his his green ones. It was small, but not small enough to be a sliver. He hummed in thought as he had you put the other glass pieces down and sit in his chair. You studied him as he grabbed a pair of tweezers and carefully pulled it out. A. It of blood rose to the surface of your finger from the cut so he grabbed a napkin and pressed down. "Hold this down, m'kay?" You nodded a bit and did as was requested of you. You bit your lip as he turned and grabbed a band-aid. He noticed when he turned around and said nothing as he placed it over your finger. "There."
"Donnie... are you mad at me?" You asked cautiously.
"Why would I be mad?" He asked you, looking into your eyes once more.
"Well, usually if someone breaks your things you get mad..." you pointed out to him gently. He shrugged a bit.
"Maybe I do, but I can never seem to get mad at you. I was more worried when you started to pick up the glass." You couldn't help but smile a bit at the genius turtle. You bit you lip.
"Hey Donnie... can I try something on you?" You asked. He nodded a bit.
"Sure, as long as you don't hurt yourself again." He said with a smiled, earning a giggle from you. He flashed his gap tooth smile and you beckoned him closer to you. He leaned down a bit so your faces where only centimeters apart. With all your courage you gave him a kiss, blushing. You heard your phone ring and pulled away, looking down.
"Oh! My mom!" You jumped up and ran out to answer it. Donnie blinked a bit, staring at the spot you once were before slowly smiling and then cheered.
"Yes!" He said excitedly and jumped a bit before running out and sweeping you into his arms and giving you a kiss after twirling you around. That was NOT what you where expecting, but who are to complain?
