You walk through the cells, trying to hold back tears as you walked towards his... You know who. You felt guilt gnaw at your stomach and heart as you stopped in front of his cell and looked in. He sat against the wall, his arms resting on his knees and his head hung low. Your hand hovered over the lock and unlocked the door. He stayed still.
"Get up." You said flatly, hiding the pain you felt. You got a growl in return as he lifted his head up. "Please..." You added softly. He sat there for a moment then stood up painfully slow. "Come with me..." You said folding your hands behind your back.
"What? Your not gonna restrain me?" You shook your head. "What f I run off? Hmm?" He was angry, you knew that, but you still felt a little hurt. You mumbled something and walked away. Like you guessed, he followed you while glaring at your back. You took him to your father, the shredder, and stood beside him. Raphael just stood there as cuffs where placed on his wrists and ankles.
"Why was he not wearing these before (y/n)?" He asked, not looking at you. He didn't see you swallow back you tears.
"Because I knew he would follow." You said with a steady voice.
"I had told you to put those on him when you felt entered the cell."
"I'm sorry father." Raphael was just watching you with a glare of sheer hatred... And heartbreak. You couldn't look at him. You just... Couldn't.
"Put the last one on him." He ordered you. You kept your appearance calm and blank, but you where ready to cry. You took the last cuff... For his neck... and with shaky hands you put it on him. He noticed your hands shaking, and even the tears that started to form in your eyes when she heard the click of it closing. At any other time one of you two would have made a dirty joke by now... You stepped back and walked to stand beside your father. You glanced up to see them... His brothers. Raphael saw them too, and saw that you saw them. He glared at you as you turned back to him. You where silent. "Good. Your not as much of a weakling as I thought you were (y/n)."
"Thank you father..." You said, trying to keep your voice steady.
"But your not strong enough. Kill him." You went stiff and looked at him quickly.
"What?"
"You heard me. Kill the freak." He ordered you again. You didn't move. "(Y/n)..." He growled your name. You nodded slowly and went to the weapons wall, which the keys for the cuffs hung near. Shredder watched you as you took a small dagger from it. You slowly made your way back over to raphael and knelt down. He glared at you more.
"Raphael..." You whispered. "Don't worry." He growled at you as you raised your arm and froze... Raphael had the keys... You smiled sadly him before standing up and stepping back.
"(Y/n)? What are you doing?"
"I'm being stronger than you." You put the dagger on the ground as sad smile faded. You turned to him. He looked furious as he stormed towards you. You looked up at him and he back handed you, sending you to the ground. Raphael's glare vanished and replaced with worry. "I don't care how much you beat me, I won't do it." You said to him as you sat up.
"You worthless little-" he was cut off with a battle cry and he was thrown to the side, not expecting the punch. You watched as and orange blur ran around him, making him dizzy.
"THIS. IS. AWESOME." the blur yelled with a laugh. When it stopped it showed Mikey. He kicked him down and went over to raphael as his brother helped him stand up. You stood up slowly and watched them. The foot went to attack but you stopped them.
"Wait... We need honor, and that means we don't fight when they are unarmed." You told them, buying them time to leave. You felt someone standing behind you.
"(Y/n)..." The voice growled. They grabbed your arm roughly and spun you around. You looked up at your father and glared. "Your a disgrace of a daughter." He growled to you. Your eyes hardened as you looked at him.
"No. Your just a disgrace of a father." He back handed you again, without letting go. The turtles were almost gone but stopped and looked back. Raphael swallowed hard. He kept hitting you until you fell from his grasp. That's when Ralph finally stepped in and intercepted a blow from him.
"Leave. Her. ALONE!" he kicked him back and turned quickly, picking you up. You where shocked.
"Raph-"
"Don't say anything right now. We will talk later." He told you as the ran out, shredder screaming angrily. You clung onto him and said nothing, happy to simply be in your hero's arms.
"I love you..." You whispered softly and closer your eyes.
"I love you too (y/n)."
