Wednesday, November 26th

Ariana Grande

Justin grabs our bags and we walk to the parking garage.

"I'm hungry."

"Ariana, you just had a steak and spaghetti. How are you still hungry?"

"That was an hour ago."

"Exactly. Just wait until we get back." The elevator door opens and some people walk out, talking quietly.

"Fine."

"You're getting cranky. Are you tired?"

"A little. I didn't sleep at all on the plane.

"Jet lag." He says as the door opens.

"This floor is empty. Where is everyone?"

"I don't know. There are cars here, so I would say they're on a plane. Or in another part of the world."

"For someone who doesn't know you sure seem to know a lot."

We walk to the other end of the parking garage and get in the car. Justin drives back to the campus and I take my stuff out of the car.

"I have to go spend some time with Lexi. I'm tired of you. See you later." He kisses my cheek and laughs.

"Have fun and I love you."

"Love you too. Go make some friends."

"I have friends. You've just never met them." I giggle and turn around.

"Prove it." I say, walking to my dorm.

I unlock the door and walk in.

"Lexi?" I put my bag on the floor and sit on my bed.

Right when I'm about to dial her number, the door opens and she walks in.

"Ari!" She yells, dropping her bags.

"I missed you." She wraps her arms around me and I put mine around her.

"I missed you too. Did you have fun?"

"Yeah. Justin's family is amazing. Although I had a few near death experiences, everything else was awesome."

"What do you mean?"

"Oh, you know, explosions, guns, stalkers, stuff like that."

"What?"

"Justin's dad is sort of a, I don't know how to put it, insane ass criminal."

"Oh. Well I'm glad you're OK."

"Me too. How was your break?"

"It was the usual. Nothing new. Except I got a new puppy. Her name is Snowflake. She's so cute! Here's a picture."

"Aww! She's adorable. I have to see her."

"Just so you know, we won't be able to be together during Christmas. My family's going on vacation."

"That's fine. Where are you going?"

"Costa Rica."

"Wow. That sounds like fun."

"Definitely. So, now that we have 4 days of no class, what do you wanna do?"

"Well, I told Justin I was gonna spend some time with you, so we can do whatever we want. I don't really know what, though."

"How about we go to Starbucks then come back here, unpack, and do absolutely nothing for the rest of the day?"

"Sounds like a plan." We walk to Starbucks and order food.

"Is your favorite color still lavender?" Alexa says on the walk back.

"Yeah. Why?"

"Just making sure. I know how you like to change stuff every two seconds."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"Nothing. I was just kidding." She opens the door and we walk in.

"I changed my mind. I don't wanna unpack. I wanna lay on my bed and watch TV."

"Like I said, you like to change stuff every 2 seconds." Alexa mutters.

"Shut up." I push her shoulder and jump on my bed.

"That's not nice." She whines.

"You'll be alright."
