"We're back! And we brought food." Jazmyn yells.

"And an explanation to why it took you so long, I hope." Justin mumbles.

"She can't hear you. She's downstairs." I say.

"I know that."

"Would you like me to go down there and tell her? Because I heard the word food."

"Of course. Have fun." He says.

I go to Jaclyn's room and see Royalty just waking up.

"Jazzy's here. Do you want to see her?"

She nods and lifts her arms up. I pick her up and walk downstairs. Jazmyn smiles and drops her pizza back on the plate.

"RoRo!" She says.

I place the child on the ground and she stands by my leg while Jazmyn holds her arms out.

Royalty blinks rapidly, still not adjusted to being awake. Finally, she walks into Jazmyn's arms and lays her head on Jazmyn's shoulder.

"Did you have fun?" I ask.

"We did. Until Jazmyn decided to take 10 years to pick out each outfit." Pattie sighs.

"I believe you." Justin walks in and stands next to me, stretching.

"You should. I'm telling the truth."

"I had to take my time and make the right decisions. I'm gonna be wearing these clothes to school!" Jazmyn says.

"I can definitely wait for your teenage years." Justin takes a slice of pizza from the box and puts the whole thing in his mouth.

"I can too. She spent almost $1,000 on 27 outfits and 3 pairs of shoes."

"Oh my God, child. You remind me of me." I giggle and Pattie shakes her head.

"You did this to her, didn't you?" She asks.

"I had nothing to do with it." I put my hands up in surrender.

"Mhmm."

"My little baby Jaxon had more sense. He spent $632 on 23 outfits and 2 pairs of shoes."

"That's right. Exactly like I taught you." Justin gives Jax a high five and stuffs another piece of pizza in his mouth.

"Oh, Jazmyn. Chris will be here in 30 minutes to pick up Royalty." I say.

She nods.

"Do you want some pizza, RoRo?" Royalty nods with her finger in her mouth and I smile.

She's so cute.

Jazmyn puts Royalty on the counter and gives her a piece of pizza on a small plate. She chews slowly, still half asleep.

"What did you two do today?" Austin asks.

"Oh, nothing. Taking care of kids. That's pretty much it." Justin says quickly.

"Mhmm. We all know you've been waiting for us to leave for a long time." Pattie says.

"Mom!" Justin groans.

Jax stares at us, chewing on his pizza, while Jazmyn plays with Royalty.

"I'm sorry but it's true." She shrugs.

I stand there, managing to eat a few bites of pizza even though my tooth hurts, while Justin stands next to me, pouting.

"Excuse me, sir. Are you done?" I ask.
