"Daddy, daddy!" Jaclyn yells.
"What is it, princess?"
"Mommy said come here." She grabs my hand and basically drags me to the bed room.
"Yes, Ariana?" I say.
"I'm pregnant." She says almost immediately.
"What?"
"I'm pregnant." She says again.
"You're kidding."
"I'm serious." It takes me 0.03 seconds to run to the bed and wrap my arms around her.
I kiss her for what seems like forever until Jaclyn claps her hands.
"Hey! What does that mean?" Jaclyn yells.
She's very loud. All of the time. We both look at her.
I place Ariana on the ground and bend down to Jaclyn's level.
"Mommy's gonna have another baby. In 9 months, you'll have a little brother or sister."
"Actually in 7 months." Ariana says.
"You've been pregnant for 2 months already and we didn't know?" I ask.
She nods.
"How did a baby get in mommy's stomach?" Jaclyn asks.
"I'm afraid you're too young for that conversation."
And exactly 7 months later, on February 23rd, 2023, there's a baby boy added to the family.
