I step forward, and I take my hair out of a bun, and let my braid simply hang over my left shoulder. The doctors arrive and escort me out of the room. Before I leave the room completely, one pair of eyes lock on mine, Rush's. My heart tears into pieces and I feel like crumbling to the ground.

"Hello Miss. Chance." One of the doctors say.

His grip is way too tight on my arm, which sends shocks through my body.

"Let go of me." I shreak and wriggle my arm free from his grip.

I pull my other arm away from the other guard and run foward, trying to excape them. Instead, I feel strong hand pull me backwards and twist my arm behind my back. When I try to break free, they pull my arm more. I scream and kick my legs, hoping to get free.

"You must cooraparate Miss. Chance." He hisses.

"No!" I scream, and try to pull away.

He tightens his grip on my arms, and tears spill from my eyes from the pain. I kick my legs, and fall a few times, but I give up. I cannot bare the pain anymore. I'm not brave. I must stop acting like I am.

I bow my head and continue to walk forward.

"You decide to listen now." He laughs and let's go of my arm.

I lift my head high, showing no fear to this man. I watch a door, 20 feet away. 10 feet away. Its time.

I break into a sprint, attempting to reach the door not too far from my right. I move quickly, like a deer in the woods. I am brave. I am daring. I am an Elite.

I push the door open, and shut it in seconds. My eyes wild as I search frantically for the lock. I find it, and wrap my shaking hand around it. I turn the nob and secure the lock. I lean against the door, calming my heart down.

The doctor, his wild smile flashing in front of me, bangs on the door. I move back, hoping that the door can withstand.

"April Chance!" He screams, "Open up this door right now.

"Never!" I hiss and throw a chair at the door.

"Miss. Chance, you will regret this." He laughs an insane laugh, a laugh filled with glee and darkness.

"I won't regret this! I can't trust you. You are not a doctor!" I scream, my voice shrill and high pitched.

"Oh Miss. Chance, only if you knew." He laughs and walks away.

"You'll never own me!" I scream, hoping he heard me.

I walk towards the door and something comes up from behind me. Before I can react, a needle enters deep into my skin. I scream and fall to the ground, unable to withstand my own weight.

"I'm sorry." I choke out as tears cover my cheeks.

My vision goes fuzzy and my eyes float shut, plunging my body into darkness.
