Who Am I? Pt.5

When I woke up from my nap, it was the middle of the day, and Leo still wasn't back yet. He said he would be back but apparently he had other plans. Sadly, I wasn't in the mood to wait and that would mean walking through camp. It wasn't my first choice but I needed answers. I jumped off the tree and used my wings to soften my landing. No one had noticed me yet, so I started to walk out of the woods and into camp. I couldn't count how many people pointed, stared, gasped, or did all three. I wasn't in the mood so I spread my wings out and glared at them. Everyone immediately to a couple steps back. I walked the rest of the way to the Big House with no interruptions. I was about to knock on the door when Leo opened the door and pulled me in.

"Y/n, thank gods you're here. We think we know what to do." I had no idea what he was talking about but I went in with him, after a few tries of getting me through the door. "Your father, Mr. Big Daddy Monster, can only be trapped, not killed. Last time he was let loose, it took all the gods and most of Zues's lightning bolts to overpower him. I imagine the gods are working on a solution right now so all we have to do is make sure you stay safe and out of his hands. If he can bring you to his side, we would have a major problem. The stories about you say that you kill an army with a snap of your fingers." Oh great, more powers that I can use to kill people with.

Leo was now standing at a table covered in books and maps. "So," I said, still processing everything. "My dad, the biggest baddest monster ever, can't be killed and he wants me on his side so I can wipe out a ton of people. Wonderful. Add that to the list of reasons why I shouldn't stay here."

Chiron decided it was time he spoke up. "Y/N, you don't have to leave. The barrier will protect us from monsters until we can figure everything out. For now you can stay at camp and just hang out I guess. You seem to know how to use your abilities enough that we don't need to train you. Although, you should probably get a weapon just incase." Leo led me outside to the weapons shed and told me to look around.

"Do you have a weapon?" I asked Leo. He never seemed to carry one around.

"My tool belt has all the weapons I need, including a giant hammer. You seem to have found something you like." I had. It was a set of kopis swords and harness to go on my back.

"Hey Leo, can you help with the harness. I can reach the clip in the back." I handed it to him and turned around. He fiddled with the harness and got it strapped in. "Thanks." We walked back outside and headed back to the tree for a little bit. We talked and laughed, not caring too much about the world around us. Soon we looked out and realized that the sun was setting. "Hey Leo, do you think I'm normal?" He froze for a second, not sure how to answer the question. Then he turned to me and said the words I never thought he'd say.

     "No. No your not." I was hurt. How could he say that to me. "You are so much better. You are amazing and beautiful and wonderful in every way. You are the most powerful demigod I've ever met and I'm in love with you." Then he kissed me. I was shocked at first, but then I was in love. We kissed until we needed air, and then kissed some more. When we finally pulled apart, we rested are foreheads together and sat their in silence. We spent the rest of the night watching the sunset until we fell asleep in each other's arms. It was a good thing Leo found me.
