Just Friends - Travis x Reader

A/N - This was requested by The_Planet_Needs_Me. Go check her out cause she's awesome and one of my really good friends. This will be a really sad oneshot, as requested so prepare for tears.

Your POV
She was perfect. Perfect brown gold hair in braids with a fresh flower in it. A dress with roses on it and red flats. The right amount of freckles on her face and not a speck of dirt on her. Of course Travis liked her, but I so hoped he liked me as well. I had a crush on him for years, even since we came to camp together. He had messy brown hair and the best sense of humor you could find. He and I played pranks on everyone and spent hours together. It was the best time ever and I wouldn't trade it for the world. He asked me to hang out today and play some pranks on people, so of course I agreed. I walked over to his cabin and knocked on the door. He opened it with a smile and dragged me inside.

"Hey Y/N, perfect timing. I was just about to get started. I have the best day ever. By the way, how fast can you run?" He always asked me this question because we both knew after the pranks we pulled, running as fast as possible was the best idea. It's what helps keep me fit and it meant I knew the best hiding spots for when we all played hide and seek.

"Faster than last time. So who are we pranking today? I'm ready for anything." He smiled and pulled out a bag full of everything you would use for pranking someone.

"Okay, today we have a list of people to prank cause I'm gonna be super busy with something tomorrow. First we have Percy, then my bro, then..." He listed a few more people then gave me the supplies I needed. This was going to be a long day.

Time skip cause author can't write much while watching Avengers

We had finally finished pranking everyone for the day and I was tired as f-

"Hey Y/N, there's something I want to show you." Travis grabbed my arm and dragged me into the woods. I followed him and got prepared for anything...almost. He pulled me into a clearing that was decorated with lights on the trees. He put my hands in his and looked into my eyes. I was getting slightly nervous but excited at the same time. "Y/N, I brought you here because I wanted to say something that I've been waiting to say for a long time now." He closed his eyes and leaned in and I did the same. I waited, but nothing happened. I was about to open my eyes when I got a pie slammed into my face. I wiped the cream off my eyes and tried not to cry.

"Hilarious joke Travis. Who helped you with this one?" He smiled and I saw movement in the dark.

"My girlfriend." I saw Katie walk out from behind a tree laughing. My eyes were watering up and Travis noticed. "You okay Y/N? It was just a prank. We're still friends right?"

"Yeah I just got some pie in my eyes. We're still just friends." I walked out of the woods and back to my cabin. I opened the door, grabbed my clothes, walked to the bathroom and got ready for bed, and tucked myself in.

"Just friends"
