AUTHOR'S NOTE: I would like to apologise that I am now going to use Laito's(replacing it the 'R' to a 'L') official name from now on. I seemed to have forgotten to replace it in the previous chapters, but since it's a bit of a pain to go search back the chapters that he had appeared, I will make an announcement instead. I hope everyone understands and I apologise for the confusion. Thank you and enjoy reading!

“What’s your problem?”

Lillia already regained her composure when she heard one of the seniors spoke rudely to her ‘saviour’. She was unsure to call him her saviour when he is after all, one of them.

“What the heck are you guys doing?” Sakamaki Subaru asked, glaring at the three seniors.

The leader scoffed and returned Subaru’s glare. “We asked you first” the senior said, sounding irritated.

Behind them, Lillia tried to get on her feet, but to no avail. She still felt sluggish, yet she was able to listen in to their conversation.

“I have no reason to answer to you three idiots. You’re all irritating, running your mouth like that” Subaru answered without any sense of fear, especially when the three men in front of him were his upperclassmen.

The upbeat senior let out a sigh and looked at his other two friends. “This foul mouth…this must be the youngest of the Sakamakis” he said, looking at Subaru.

“So what if he’s from that family? It’s not like he could do anything against the three of us” said the quiet one, sounding irritated by now. He must have felt fed up to be interrupted by yet another Sakamaki family member. Even in the midst of her headache, Lillia was able to tell that even the upbeat senior agreed with his friend. She watched them as they took a step back, bunching their fists. Lillia perked up in alarm as she saw this. Were they going to have a brawl with Subaru here? Lillia had momentarily forgotten about her headache and stood up. This can’t do, she had thought as she took a step forward towards the four men.

“Wait, you two” the two seniors froze, their fists in mid-air as they turned to look at their leader. Even Lillia stopped moving, focusing on the senior that had the common sense to stop his two companions. The last thing she wanted was for a hole to be left on the school building’s wall. Yes, Subaru was capable of that, and the senior knew that, too.

He casted a wary glance at Subaru and let out a sigh. “Let’s get out of here you two. It’s not worth it” he said and turned around. He met his gaze with Lillia, causing her to stiffen in alarm. He stopped walking and turned to look at his other two friends, who were fuming behind him. “Next time, you guys” he simply said, and walked over to Lillia. He grabbed her chin and forced her to look at him in the eyes. “My name is Kai. Remember to call out to that name when I finally get my hands on you” he said before leaving.

Lillia leaned against the wall as Kai and his friends – who were shuffling their feet with a sour expression on their faces – walked by her. Lillia let out a sigh of relief and was about to slump down to the floor when she realised that she was being watched by someone.

She slowly turned to see that Subaru was glaring at her, clenching his jaw as he walked over to her. What now, she thought tiredly as she straightened herself up so that she could face him properly.

“What the heck were you doing in the hallway?” Subaru asked, albeit rudely. Lillia momentarily closed her eyes before looking at him, suppressing herself from screaming at him. She was not in a good condition to handle his confrontation. Heck, her body was so heavy; it was a miracle that she was able to stand on her two feet at such a long period of time.
