Part 20 - A New Beginning

“Let go of me!” Lillia yelled out, pushing Laito away from her. She managed to take a few steps away from him when he suddenly appeared right in front of her. Right, he could teleport. Lillia cursed herself for forgetting Laito’s abilities and allowed him to grab her arm so that he could pull her closer to him.

“Oh, not fighting back this time?” Laito chuckled, peering into her face. Lillia bit her lip and gave him a sweet smile.

“How could I fight back, when I am against a person who is stronger than me?” Lillia said sweetly, fighting the urge to punch Laito in the stomach. Whoa, wait. Since when do I have such violent thoughts?

Laito tightened his grip on her arm, causing her to yelp in pain. “That’s not what I want to hear from you, Bitch-chan. I want to see you begging to me like how you did with Shuu and with my own hands, make you moan in pain” Laito leaned in to her ear just to say the last word, chuckling in the process.

“Stop it! Don’t you realise that I am Shuu’s property?” Lillia said, changing tactics. Laito merely chuckled, loosening his grip on her arm. This is my chance!

Lillia shook her arm to free herself from Laito’s grasp and was about to take a step back when Laito grabbed her shoulders. This time, he used his superhuman strength to hold her, causing her to gasp in pain. Laito let out a laugh, the silent night broken by his manic laughter.

“Yes, this is what I wanted! To see your face contorted in pain and that sweet voice of yours echoing the sounds of pain!” Laito said in between his laughter. Lillia wanted to push him away, but the pounding in her head became louder in unison with Laito’s laughter.  

Laito then pushed her against her bedroom door, using his body to trap her. “Bitch-chan, you sure know how to please me, with those eyes of yours tearing up. Do you really enjoy being treated this way? Or was it because it is I who makes you like this? Hey, Bitch-chan” Laito grabbed her chin and forced her to look up into her eyes. Lillia looked back at him in defiance, biting the inside of her cheek to stop herself from crying. Don’t falter. Try to fight him by not falling into his traps, she reminded herself.

“Oh? What is this?” Laito cocked his head to one side as he studied Lillia. “It seems that you still have a fighter in you, even in this situation of yours”.

Laito pushed his body against her, a smile tugging at his lips. She understood what he was trying to do. Her path to escape was just right behind her, and yet she can’t escape because he’s right in front of her. What a way to rub it in her face.

Lillia could only let herself being trapped by him, making Laito chuckle in delight. It seemed to have pleased him that he was able to tame the red head in front of him. Laito brushed Lillia’s red locks away from her face, trailing his fingers down her cheek and finally landing his fingers on her neck. He caressed the area where Shuu had bitten her.

“Shuu seems to enjoy biting your neck, huh?” Laito said absent-mindedly, still caressing her neck. Lillia gritted her teeth, trying to forget the urge to vomit. Her head was still pounding, but she could feel her skin crawl at the areas where Laito’s fingers had touched.

“He sucked your blood clean, too. How unappetising. If it were me, I would definitely leave some blood in that area-“ Laito ran his fingers through her hair, “especially when your hair has such a beautiful shade of red”.

Before Lillia could try to comprehend Laito’s words through the pounding in her head, she felt a painful sensation on her neck. Laito let out another chuckle and took a step back. Lillia immediately touched the area where she had felt pain and felt something wet and sticky to greet her along with the pain. She shook in horror as she inspected her hand, which was smeared with her own blood. She narrowed her eyes at Laito, who was rubbing his chin as he looked at her.
