Moments of silence echoed in the lake as the water splashed. Bob didn't come up for a few seconds. Those few seconds felt like hours and it felt like time had stopped.

"CH- shoot BOB" I yelled when I found my voice. My boat rocked from the sudden movement. I tried to even my weight to stop the boat from capsizing.

"What the- Bob" Riele and I shared looks of shock and fear as Fred frantically pushed on the button on the side of his boat.

Bob floated, his bright yellow life jacket popped up, he splashed around the water in pure panic, breathing heavily.

"Shit, its cold" He's words wavered.

"Bob" I yelled loudly, delighted and angry to see him. "You idiot"

"Riele" Bob said, orientating himself to face her. "Riele, date me"

"Bob" She said slowly. "Get out of the water"

"Say you'll date me first" Bob said shivering, water dripped from his hair onto his face.

"Bob, listen to me" She said "Get out of the water"

"Riele" He said warningly.

"Ill date you get out of the water will you?" She screamed loudly.

I grabbed my paddle, paddling slowly to Bob so he could get back on the boat.

Then I saw it, a slight glimpse of an inky green moment. I had to blink again to make sure I wasn't dreaming. He wasn't swimming next to a large rock as I originally thought.

My mouth opened, fear lacing my words. "Bob" I said slowly. He turned to me raising an eyebrow as to why I hadn't come any closer.

He put his hand on the 'rock' and turned as to see why it probably felt weird.

"Guys this is a-" He started but The help came before he could continue.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING YOU STUPID CHILD GET OUT GET AWAY" A guy yelled frowning at Bob.

Bob didn't move, he stared at the crocodile. Frozen with fear.

"Move slowly" The guy said, we started a queue with all the boats. A few boats stopped by the edge of the river, staring at the scenerio.

"WHY ARENT YOU LISTENING, WHY ISNT HE LISTENING" The guy in the boat said frantically, panic etched in his words.

Bob snapped out of his trance and terror flood into his features.

"Oh my" He said softly. The crocodile was completely still, it does above the water a little. Watching Bob's movements.

The man who had come for help, had a walkie talkie out, he muttered words about a saltwater baby crocodile that had come too close, something about it being foreign and clearly not used to the boats then more muttering about the current situation.

Then the worst happened. Realization hit Bob, knocking him cold. Terror inflicted his actions. He splashed out of panic, trying to move close to any boat.
