Liam POV -2 Days Later- -June 20th-
"Don't you think you should slow down..?" I asked, as i watched the young girl walking beside me lap and lick at her chocolate icecream as if we were in a competition. She shot me a warning look as i chuckled, continuing to walk down the sidewalk in the London heat, slowly savoring my mint chocolate chip treat. I glanced at Cassie, and had to hold back a laugh at the dallop of chocolate on her nose, "What?" She snapped noticing my gaze, and i bit my lip, "Oh nothing." We walked in silence, taking in the fresh air and bustle of the London, "They like you, you know." I told her, thinking back to yesterday, "Hmm, they did?" She asked, seeming nonchalant but i knew she said it in hope, "Mmmhm. They did. Actually, they told me to ask you to come to a get together at Simon's. Nothing too big really," I defended as she shot me a panicked look, "Just people we work with. No paparazzi or anything, just to chill and have fun. You dont have to come as my date, just as a friend." She was silent, and I could feel rejection eating at my core before she bit her lip, "I don't have anything to wear, Li." "I thought of that," "You did?" "Mhm, i did, and i got a solution too." She looked to me curiously, and i just simply smiled, "I got someone for you to meet." I grabbed her hand unconciously and began to pull her to the Starbucks that she hates oh so much, ignoring her protests and threats of death no matter how graphic they were.
Cassie POV
"Would you quit struggling for god's sakes Cassie?!" Liam growled as he pulled me along and into the Starbucks, "I don't like people, you KNOW i dont like people!" "Too bad!" I huffed, and pulled my arm back, "Fine, but i hate you." I stalked in front of him, and i didnt miss the smirk on his handsome features as he motioned for a table in the back where a girl was already sat. She had a small figure and long brown hair that flowed in waves, and she glanced back at the sound of Liam's voice entering the shop. I didnt realize who she was until we got halfway to the table and she smile a white perfect grin, "Hey El," Liam greeted and she nodded in acknowledgement at him, but kept her gaze on me. Her smile was warm and welcoming as Li pulled out a chair for me and allowed me to sit. "Im going to order okay?" He asked, and i nodded biting my lip shyly. I really hate him. "Hi Im Eleanor," She smiled sweetly, and i nodded, "I know... Im Cassie." "Are you a new member of the 1DGC?" She asked with a small giggle, and before i could respond i heard Liam scoff from behind me, "You know, I really thought you and Perrie would come up with something better than that," He snorted, sitting my hot chocolate down in front of me before taking a seat. Eleanor shot him a glare over her sunglasses, "Shut your trap, Payne. Let the girl answer the question.' I giggled, and smiled at Li, "Yeah, Payne." He stuck his tongue out at me and i rolled my eyes, before turning back to the older girl, "No, I'm not. Just a friend, promise." She nodded with a small pout, "It would have been fun though.." I laughed, and shook my head, "So, LIAM. Would you like to explain why i was dragged here against my will?" I scowled at him, but sent a warm gaze to Eleanor, "No offense, I just dont get out much." Liam pinched my side, and I yelped causing him to chuckle and smirk triumphantly, "You're here, because the lovely Ms.Calder is taking you shopping." I knew i looked like a fish out of water, "Bu-but." "No buts, El, here's my card. Make her get something. She wont if you dont. Have her at my place by 8. Thanks, Eleanor, you're a doll." And with that, he was out of his seat speed walking toward the door. "Yeah, that's plenty of time for you to plan your funeral Singer Boy!" I yelled at him, seething with anger. He smiled innocently, and with a wave he left the Starbucks, leaving me to sulk. Eleanor stared at me a minute, a sweet smile on her face, "Any particular reason you have chocolate on your nose, love?" And in that moment it was decided, slow and painful that boys death would be.
