Cassie POV
"So what do you do at home?" He asked as he spread out on his couch, leaving room for me. I shrugged, pulling my laptop from my bag, along with the charger. "I have no social life, so i kind of watch movies, play on the computer, and pretend i have friends." I laughed a little, "I don't know anyone here of course, so." He nodded in understanding, patting the spot on one side of him, and i raised my eyebrow. I plugged up my charger, and went to the couch, purposely sitting opposite of the side he asked me to. He huffed and rolled his brown eyes, "You are so stubborn!" He groaned, running his hand over his face, and i just shot him a smirk, opening the laptop. I typed in my password, and pulled up Google Chrome. Yes, Google Chrome. Internet Explorer pisses me off. I typed in Facebook like a second nature, sitting criss crossed on the leather couch, aware of Liam watching me. I began to scroll down my news feed, until a One Direction post showed up from one of the very many pages i like. I felt Liam shift beside me, and i didnt dare to look at his face as i continued to scroll. However, the feed was covered in One Direction, as that was my main concern, so i finally exited out with a sigh. Liam was sitting, his strong arms crossed, with a smirk on his face, "You saw nothing." I seethed, and he just grinned, earning a punch in the shoulder. He yelped out and i giggled at him, "That was possibly the most unmanly scream i have ever heard." He laughed shaking his head, shrugging. I glanced around the room, and noticed a stereo in the corner, along with shelves of CD's. "Oh! Music!" I exclaimed, jumping off the couch suddenly. I crossed the room, the floor cold against my bare feet until i approached the cases of at least 100 CD's. I began to flip through the music, and i could feel eyes boring into my back. I turned to him, the latest Little Mix CD in my hand, with a questioning look. He shook his head from his place on the couch where he had laid back stretching out, "Zayn," His chest shook as he chuckled, and i smiled too. Once i had went through his collection, i turned to see him texting, and i put my hands on my hips, "You know, texting while you have company is rude." I scolded, and he glanced up at me sticking his tongue out at me, "I'm trying to make you friends," "Are you implying i cant make friends?" "Not with that attitude little miss." I glared, "And what is wrong with my attitude? I think im quite a charmer." I could see the humor bouncing in his brown orbs, "Oh, well, you're stubborn." "Maybe you're just persistant Mr.Payne." He smirked at me once again, "You have mood swings." "I could be on my period, you dont know." He literally threw his head back in a laugh, "No i dont know." "Then shut up." He grinned, looking like a puppy we all know he really is.
He groaned, slapping his hands over his face in frustration after looking at another text, "I completely forgot!" He cried, and i raised my eyebrow in confusion, "We have a signing in two hours," He sighed, crossing his arms and shaking his head, "I can't believe i forgot and Zayn, Zayn of ALL people remembered!" I laughed softly, trying to keep my dissapointment from showing at the fact he had to leave, "Daddy's slacking isnt he?" I giggled, and Liam rolled his brown eyes at me, "Guess you should take me home, then huh?" I asked quietly, looking down at my small pale hands. "Why dont you come?" He asked, and i looked up quickly, "What?!" "Come to the signing." "And what exactly would i do?" "Get an autograph." I barked out a laugh, "So you mean to tell me, that you want me to stand in line with a bunch of screaming teenage girls, act starstruck over the guy that drove me there, and ask him and his friends to sign my phone." He furrowed his eyebrows in thought, "Pretty much." "I'm in." "You are?!" He asked excitedly, and i giggled, "Yeah! It'll be fun seeing all the girls who pass out and scream, and ask you to sign their breasts." I laughed, and he rolled his eyes AGAIN, "Would you quit that?!" I snapped, crossing my arms over my chest, and a brown eyebrow raised at my outburst, "Hmm..?" He hummed, questioning, "Rolling your eyes! Stop it!" He chuckled, and crossed his eyes, "Better?" I giggled at the stupid face, "Much." I came back to the couch, except he took it all up, "Hey." I poked his leg, "You. Move." He closed his eyes and laid back, with absolutely no intention of letting me sit, "There's a perfectly good chair over there," He muttered, pointing to the seating that surrounded the couch, "But i want to sit here." I huffed, much like a child, "And i want to lay here." He stated, a smile playing on his lips as he continued to lay. I felt my anger boiling, "Fine. Have it your way!" I exclaimed, exasperated by this difficult boy, before sitting on his legs. He lifted up his head, looking at me surprised, "Those are my legs!" He scowled playfully, "And this is my bum, on your legs, which are on this couch, on my spot." "This is my couch." I glared, and pinched his calf, he yelped, and glared at me, "I know you're trying to be scary, but really, you're just like a puppy." "Why does everyone say that?!" He groaned, throwing his arm over his eyes, "If EVERYONE says it, did it ever occur it might be true?" "If EVERYONE said you're annoying did it ever occur it might be true?" He bantered back, in a mocking voice like a kid to a parent. "I thought you were the mature one." "And i thought you were sweet. We were both wrong." We stared eachother down, as i still sat on him, my arms crossed stubbornly. Neither of us blink, just glared, but at the exact same time we burst out laughing. I pushed his shoulder playfully, "NOW MOVE YOUR LEGS!" He laughed harder, and rolled off the couch, i giggled, looking down at the boy on the floor, "Well, thats one way to do it." He just laughed harder, and it was contagious, so i laughed along with him. Nellie looked up from her place on one of the chairs, looking at us confused. Liam caught his breath, and sat up wiping tears from his eyes. "We should probably get going," He offered, sitting up and groaning rubbing at his now sore shoulder.
"Can Nellie stay here?" I asked, walking over to the dog, and he nodded. "Alright Bug," I cooed. kneeling in front of her, "I gotta go bye bye okay? But i'll be back. It doesnt really matter if you tear anything up, hes rich." "Hey!" I turned to him with a huge grin, laughing at his feined hurt expression, I kissed Nellie's head, and stood brushing myself off. I skipped by Liam, patting his shoulder as i passed. I skipped to his car, pulling the door open and sliding into the leather passenger seat. Liam jogged to the car, smiling brightly with a shake of his head. He got in, cranking the car. Rap played through the radio and i cringed, quickly turning the station to country. He turned to me with raised eyebrows, "Really?" "Country Girl and proud, Payne." I shrugged, turning it up. He sighed, giving in as he pulled out of his drive, "How long is the drive?" "About 30 minutes." "What a joy." I whined, and he smirked, "Stop complaining, would you?" "No." "Well." I giggled, resting my head on my hand with my signature smirk on my face, "Liiiiiiiam its hoooot." He turned on the air conditioner, muttering his apologies. I waited for a moment, letting the car cool down, "Liiiiiiam its cooooold." He huffed, glaring at me for a second, "You're unbelievable!" He growled playfully, and i shrugged looking down with a mischevious smile, before opening his glove department, "What are you doing?" He asked, "Amusing myself." "Get out of there, Cassie!" I giggled, pulling out a box that caught my eye, holding it up, "Condoms?" I giggled, covering my mouth with my hand to hold in my giggles, as his cheeks flared up with a blush. "Please, close the glove department." "You're absolutely no fun." He sighed, running his hand through his pretty much nonexistent hair. "Why did you cut your hair?" "Felt like it." "Why?" "I dont know." "Why?" "Cassie." "Why?" "Please be quiet." "Why?" "I hate you." "Why?" He groaned loudly, shooting me a dirty look. I giggled and turned to the window, resting my head on my palm as i watched the bustling city around us. London is a lot different compared to home. I saw a woman holding onto a little girls hand, pulling her along as the girl looked around in amazement. I couldn't keep the smile off my face as i saw the little girl giggling at everything that passed. "So whats the plan?" I questioned the older boy in the drivers seat, "Well, i'll drop you off on the sidewalk, that way no one sees you get out of my car, and you can wait in line, while i go sign, and i will see you when you get to the front of the line." "Somehow this doesn't seem like that much fun." "Just don't hit anyone alright?" "I would never." He laughed, shaking his head, "You would!" "No i wouldnt! Kicking is more my forte!" He chuckled, his chest vibrating as the sound erupted from his lips, "Please keep your hands to yourself." "Why?" He sighed, his lips pulled into a large smile. It grew quiet after that, a comfortable yet boring silence. I fidgeted in my seat, playing with my hands, and tapping my fingers, doing anything to amuse myself. Nothing worked. "Are we there yet?" "How old are you?" "Sixteen." "Act like it." I stuck my tongue out at him, pinching his arm. He jumped, his brown eyes turning to slits as he looked at me, "The whole keep your hands to yourself thing starts now." "Make me." "OH THANK GOD!" He exclaimed suddenly, and i jumped at his loud outburst, "What in the heck crawled up your butt?!" I asked, and he stopped the car, "Get out." "Excuse me?" He grinned at me, "We're here. Out." I rolled my eyes, and picked up my purse, stepping out of the car. "See ya soon." He waved before pulling off and into the parking lot. I rounded the corner, and my eyes widened as i saw at least 500 fans crowded around a table that had 5 seats, but no boys. Oh this is going to be a LONG day.
