This is the new version of Last First Kiss, I was unsatisfied with the last one, so restarted it with the same plot. Already have like 13 chapter written up, so 2 votes for the next one?
Liam POV -May 31st-
The TV flashed before my eyes, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles playing where Niall had left it. The boys had left one by one and the blonde Irish leprechaun was last to leave about thirty minutes ago. I groaned, running my hand over my face. In all honesty, I'm not used to being alone, even though the tour ended a while ago, i'm still adjusting to being without four bumbling idiots over night. It was quite boring without them. I tapped my fingers on the couch arm, and glanced at the clock. 9 o'clock. I pushed myself off the couch, my muscles popping out from their stiff state. I grabbed my phone, wallet, and car keys off the table. I debated on calling Paul, letting him know i was leaving home that way somebody could be sent as protection. I decided against it, afterall, it was just a drive around. So slipping my phone in my pocket, I opened the large black door, stepping into the cool humid British air. I relocked the door, not wanting to come home to a crazed fan in my bathroom, or bedroom, and then opened the garage doors. I couldn't contain the smirk on my lips when i saw my black Audi, running my hand over the smooth paint. This car is my baby. I opened the car door, before slipping into the leather seats. After digging through my pocket for the keys, i stuck them in the ignition, and with a twist of my wrist the car purred to life. I quickly changed the radio station, turning it up before pressing the pedal and backing out of the drive. Considering it was late, nothing was really open other than clubs and occasional stores, and due to the weather not many was out. It had rained recently, not uncommon of course, but puddles stood on the sidewalks. It was nice just taking a joy ride, not having to worry about a black van following you, sure it was for protection, and usually i would oblige, but for once i just wanted it to be me. I drummed my fingers against the steering wheel to the beat of the music playing, and a familiar voice filled my ears. I turned up the Ed Sheeran song, quickly of course, not wanting to take my eyes off the road even if it was deserted. I immediately returned my attention to the pavement, but not soon enough to see the teenager on the sidewalk. I tried to press the break as i saw the giant pool of water i was about to hit, but really it only made the splash worse. I heard the slosh of the water, and when i heard a loud gasp even over the music i knew that i had covered the small figure.
I groaned, slamming my hands against the wheel. "Of course, good going Liam." I muttered to myself, before stepping out of the car, sputtering apologies. I could see now it was a girl, she was in height, but not exactly skinny, and her eyes were wide. She was absolutely drowned from head to toe, and i could feel the guilt eating at my stomach. I waited for the scream, or the look of shock from recognizing me, but instead she still stood there, eyes just as wide, and shivering from the cold. "I am SO sorry, Miss. Please get in the car, it's warm, at least until you stop shivering. I could drive you home! I am SO sorry!" I rambled on, and although her facial feature didn't change, she held up a hand, silently telling me to shut up. I bit my lip, feeling ashamed, and dropped my head. To my surprise i heard the car door open, and when i realized she had, in fact, got inside i followed. I cranked the car and turned the heat on high, hoping to stop the young girls shivers. I turned to look at her, and she sat staring out the window, her clothes dripping wet. Once she realized i wasn't driving she turned to me, motioning me to get on with it. I shook my head, and offered a warm smile, which she returned with a cold expression. Well someone is a hard shell to crack. I reached behind me as i suddenly remembered something, "Seatbelt." I told her, locking my own in place. I could just feel her rolling her eyes, and i swear i heard her mutter something along the lines of, "Stupid Daddy Direction..." So, as i pulled off the side of the road i pondered on that. So she did know who i was, and mostly only fans know me as Daddy Direction, but then again she called me stupid. I am at a total lost as to what to feel about the girl in my passenger seat. I kept glancing over to her small frame, her wet hair flat on her head, and i could only barely see the side of her face as she stared out the window to her side, the moon very lightly basking her features. This continued on for about two minutes, before i took notice in the temperature of the car. Her small body was still shaking, but i was burning up, sweat pouring from my brow. I pulled over the car, putting it in park. Her head whipped over quickly, and i could hear the light 'smack' from her wet brown hair hitting her face. Trying to ignore her curious yet annoyed gaze, i peeled the jacket i was wearing from my torso and arms. She let out a loud sigh, sounding absolutely impatient, "Liam turn off the heat," I jumped at her voice, being the first time i heard it other than a mutter. It was soft and sweet, but had a cold tone to it, showing her obvious distaste in me at the moment. I didn't stop looking at her until she reached forward to turn the knob herself, i lightly smacked her hand away out of instinct, and she turned to me her eyes wide with challenge as i shook my head. She huffed, rolling her eyes, "It's not worth arguing over," She concluded to herself, and i chuckled softly, until she stared daggers at me, and i raised my large hands in defense, "Alright, alright!" I coaxed, trying to calm her from killing me with her green irises.
