Carly had been training and she now has weaponry of her choice. Along with her newly found tools, she has fears of what might happen once she leaves the orb. Alex and her crew have been planing of how to get their friend back safely and what will happen once they return to the Kingdom.

Carly's POV

Slashing and thrashing at the dummies. Punching and kicking included among the ways to "harm" a dummy. My body had began to feel tired but I couldn't stop now. I could still feel how close I was to getting out of this Hell.

Days passed as I trained harder and I continued to follow Spirit's orders.

Soon, regular days had passed by in the blink of an eye as I trained more and more within the walls of Spirit's glowing orb. It wasn't finished just yet but I had been informed that I had one more regular day left until I got to leave. It was time to do my best then get the Hell out of this Hell.

Alex's POV

After what seemed like hours of planning, the sun shined through the Castle. It may be a bit weird for vampires but the light won't really hurt them unless you shove them in fire. As I finished the draft of the plan that Damon and I were making last night, Amanda and Dustin woke up and they walked up to us while yawning.

"What's with the paper?" Amanda asked between yawns.

"The plan." I responded as I kept the majority of my attention on the paper.

"Okay." She said. "Damon, you're taking me to the kitchen to get food." She then proceeded to pull Damon along with her as they left towards the pathway for food.

Her actions made a chuckled escape my lips and Damon's reaction to it made me laugh loudly. I couldn't help but laugh at it all as Dustin took a seat near me.

"You need to get some sleep." Dustin said as he pulled my hand into his.

"I'm fine." I said calmly as I looked into his eyes.

"Liar. Now, what shall I ever do to make the one and only Alex take a nap? I know." He said as he got up from his chair. "I command you to sleep. You cannot disobey orders."

I began to laugh so much that I practically couldn't breath. This was the Dustin that I know and love. The silly one. He proceeded to pick me up and bring me to a bedroom. Once we arrived to the bed, he dropped me.

"Sleep now, child." He said as he giggled.

"Alright, commander." I chuckled as I pulled the blanket on me. "On one condition."

"I'm listening." He said in a weird tone that made me giggle a bit.

"You must do the same. Join the sleeping army!" I joked.

"Yes, milady." Dustin replied as he jumped in.

That was how I spent my morning with Dustin. I spent it in bed with my loved one, sleeping. At this point, I wanted to have Carly back but she'll be fine for a little while longer.

"Hey. Couple of the year. Wake up. It's past five in the evening."

The voice woke me up and I ever so kindly chucked a pillow at them.

"Shut up, Fangs."

"C'mon, Alex. We all have a plan to finish." Amanda said in an almost convincing tone.

"I haven't slept in days." I admitted as she walked up to pull the blanket away to reveal that Dustin was on the left while I was on the right.

"I knew it." Dustin said as he shot up from the bed.

Soon enough, I got up myself and I followed them out to the table to listen to their suggestions on how to find our friend and what to do afterwards. The sleep had done me some good because I had an amazing idea.

"Maybe we can get Damon to sniff-" Amanda started until I cut her off.

"Let's just go right into the forest. She must be easier to find in there and Damon will be able to get her scent much better." I suggested.

"That could work, but it is the forest that we were taught not to enter." Dustin attempted to reason.

"Nonsense. It's the best place because they wouldn't dare enter it themselves." I replied and this time the seemed more convinced as I continued on to reason as to why just go in the forest.

As time passed, we made a better plan together and in all of my years, I have never seen a better plan than this. Even Shane couldn't make a better one if he tried his best. With all four of us agreeing, it was settled, we were going to sleep until tomorrow morning and leave for the forest before noon. Then that is when we will start our adventure to find our friend.

*

It was time. We were standing outside of the forest. Amanda seemed a bit frightened; Dustin seemed worried; as for Damon, he seemed relaxed yet stressed. As for me, my heart was racing and pumping fast as I stared at the acres of trees awaiting us. My head played terrible possibilities in my mind on repeat. Oh, how I hope that this ends well.

"Well, are we going to go or what?" I asked in my regular teasing tone even though that deep down, I was freaking out. One wrong move and we were all done.

"Yeah. Let's do this, Witch." Damon voiced as we walked into the patch of trees.

"No going back now." Amanda said as she followed as close as possible.

"For Carly." Dustin answered.

"For Carly." We all replied back.

This better be worth risking our asses for yours, Carly. I thought to myself.

That's when my mind began to play scenarios of my friends state when we would find her. None of them seemed to be good. This strikes fear into my every fiber. I can't loose my friend. She was there when I needed her most and now, it was my time to return the favor.

"I don't think that we will have enough time to search with daylight. We will have to make camp in a few hours." Damon said calmly as Amanda started to freak a bit.

"Camp? In this horrid place? You've all gone nuts." She mumbles but she still continues the journey with us.

Silently, I make a wish for our friend to be okay and safe until we find her.
