Carly's POV
Luke was there. All I knew was that Luke was there and that he knew exactly what happened. He knew everything and yet he didn't say a thing as he returned my embrace. I could feel Alex but I didn't register it until Luke was moved over a bit so she could join in. They didn't ask any questions about anything. They just stood there waiting for me.
Luke knew everything all the way down to the name change. Alex on the other hand hadn't. She was just waiting for my words that I wasn't going to speak just yet. I could hear Damon yelling while Dustin and Amanda waited patiently by the shield. Willow was on edge and seemed to observe a way to enter the shield while Mark just waited there as he watched it all go down. The wolves were still on defense from the moment I got out.
It was hell from the second I got out and all I could imagine was blood spilling. It would be all because of me and I knew it wasn't going to be long before someone starts it. This is how it always works and it wasn't going to change anytime soon. Soon, we'd be going into a bloodbath of uncertainty.
The orb showed many secrets and showed more than I wanted to know. I learnt more than just fighting and how to control the elements. I learnt much much more. It changed me from the girl I once was to what I feared the most. A different version of myself.
One that belongs to this world.
I only wanted to go home and now I'm permanently trapped in a foreign land that's starting to be a lot less foreign. Yet, it's still not home. Not even the memory of home gave me the sense of belonging. I was trapped in a place where I don't belong anywhere.
Anywhere but with the people around me. So, like they say, home is a feeling not necessarily a place. Maybe mine's them.
Luke's POV
One thing that I noticed about Carly was that her hair changed to white. Just a wintery white. It wasn't Carly anymore - well, I mean she's still the same person just her name no longer suits her. She's now Cyra. A princess of one realm and a bastard in another. A true weapon in both the political world and the amount of power she can control.
She was what the general and the Queen wanted but neither would share. She is what the Witch Kingdom and Blood Kingdom expected. She was the perfect monstrosity.
To us, she was only Carly but to them, she was Cyra, Destruction in the flesh.
Carly is still Carly even though she'll need to be presented as Cyra. This is where I come in, I guess. The author suggests that I will be the guard along with Alex to keep up Cyra's image. I can't argue with them. I'm not exactly in charge of what happens around here.
Danny's Diary
Alright. Let's get the sessions started. From what I know, I know nothing but... I got some books. We're getting places people.
All I gotta do is read up on it and keep it far away from Mom and Dad... Maybe Thomas too. He doesn't need to know yet.
But then again.... He does know more about fantasy and stuff so he may be useful. He may just uncover where the Hell is my sister. Without him, I might not be able to get Carly back to where she belongs.
She shouldn't be there from what I seen. It's not a place made for a human.
Mom didn't seem to want to help find Carly and Dad didn't even notice with all the work he's been doing. Aunt Maddy hasn't answered me at all. Dustin left me on voicemail. Alex kept saying that she's okay. Shane's phone isn't traceable. Amanda just keeps answering then hanging up. Nobody seems to want to help find my dear sister that got herself in trouble.
At least, it wasn't me this time and she'll owe me a favor for saving her butt.
I kinda miss her shriek of terror when I would place a toy snake in her shoes.
Ah, the good old days.
Maybe this will be a good experience for Journalism? I think it might but it's not like someone would believe me if I said that there was another dimension that took my sister hostage. Maybe I could write a book like Uncle Clark and say it's fictional when we all know it's definitely know that it's not.
Thomas would usually be down to join in on this. Maybe I could ask him to join in on the adventure and to be the second leading man? He likes this stuff so he'll say yes. Before I ask, Uncle Clark always says to have an outline so...
Phase 1: Research
Phase 2: Get Thomas on board & more research
Phase 3: First steps into the new world
Phase 4: Make a plan of action for in-world
Phase 5: Get Carly
Phase 6: Remind her of a favour that she owes me now
Thomas will definitely join. He has to do it. He loves science way too much to pass up this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. So, all I have to do right now is research then get Thomas. That won't be too difficult. I'll keep you posted.
Shane's POV
Luke will return eventually with Carly and all will be right back on track. I will get my place just like It always said. It never lies. It only promises a certain future. It already has the wolves on its side and soon, all the witches will join. Then, the vampires will have nowhere to turn and they too will have to join us. We will rule this dimension. All will belong to it and I shall rule over the witches while a new heir will take over the vampires. It promises it and so shall it be.
