Guardian with claws (A RotG fan-fic)

Chapter 3

*POV Bunnymund*

The difference in temperature between my Warren and the North Pole was enormous.

'Oh, it's freezin'!' Quickly I ran to North's Workshop. When I was inside, I laid the girl down the wall softly. Then I searched for North. He was at the Globe.

'I hope it is important, mate, because it is Easter tomorrow and I have still eggs to paint,' I said to North.

'Relax Bunny, Easter is not important. Christmas is important.' The Toothfairy flew inside, followed by a few Baby Tooth and the Sandman.

'North, what's wrong? Is Pitch back? Where is Jack?'

'I'm here!' said Jack.

'So North, what's up?' We all looked at him.

'Man in Moon wants to talk with us.' said North.

'Again mate? Just before Easter,' I asked Manny. The moon sent a beam of light. We stepped back and a crystal appeared from the ground.

'A new guardian?' I asked.

*POV Anna*

I woke up against a wall. Where was I? It was a big place. There were big fluffy creatures busy making toys. Giant toys flew in the air. This must not be real. Certainly not. This must have really been a nightmare. So the only thing I have to do is to wake up and then I'm back babysitting Sophie and Jamie. I squeezed my arm.

'Ow! That hurts!'

So this isn't a dream. Oh god, that means Jamie and Sophie are still alone. Man, there goes my job. I had to yawn. What time would it be? There must be a warm, nice bed somewhere, right? I started to walk, find a place to sleep. There was so much to see, this was even better than the bunny's place. Suddenly I heard something jingle. I looked around to see where it came from. I did a step forward and my foot hit something. When I looked down I saw a little red elf. I had almost stepped on him.

'Not again.' I sighed. 'I'm sorry, little one.' Then I walked further.

*POV North*

I brought the guardians together, because Manny wanted to talk. Bunny came first.

'I hope it is important, mate, because it is Easter tomorrow and I have still eggs to paint.' he said.

'Relax Bunny, Easter is not important. Christmas is important.' Christmas was more important. Children were happier at Christmas than at Easter. Before Bunnymund could say something, Toothfairy with her Baby Tooth and Sandman appeared. When everybody was there, Man in Moon sent a beam of moonlight. The crystal rose from the ground.

'A new guardian?' asked Bunny. I nodded. The moon shone on the crystal and a picture of the new guardian appeared.

'Who is that?' asked Tooth. A question mark made out of golden dreamsand appeared above Sandy's head.

'She looks like Anna, don't you think Bunny?' Jack asked.

'Who is Anna?' Tooth asked.

'Anna is the oldest believer,' I said.

'And Jamie's babysitter.' Jack added. A yeti came in and said something.

'There is a girl with the reindeers?' I repeated in disbelief. Nobody could come close to the reindeers, especially in their stable. They were really territorial and only I could come very close to them. I saw the others watching me.

'What are you looking at? Come find that girl and safe her.'

We all walked to the stable.

*POV Jack*

'Where did you leave Anna?' I whispered to Bunny. We were on our way to North's reindeer stable. Bunny looked at me with a grin on his face.

'You're worried, aren't you?'

'Oh shut up, cottontail! You know I'm never worried. Concern isn't fun.' I flew to the front. We were at the stable. 

'It is calm in there.' North nodded.

'I hope we aren't too late.' Tooth said. North opened the door and there laid all the reindeers, all asleep. Between the deer laid something else. I flew close to see what it was. I started to laugh.

'Did you really left Anna with the deer?'

'Of course not! These animals are really dangerous, mate! Not offensive, North.' Bunny said.

'Then why is she here?'

'She is a human, she can walk on her own, Jack,' Tooth said.

'We have to take her out of there.' North commanded.

'But she looks so cute in there.' Tooth giggled.

'But it is dangerous in there, the reindeers could hurt her.'

'I told you they are dangerous,' Bunny said.

I ignored him and landed next to Anna. I touched her shoulder and tried to wake her up.

'Anna, wake up.' She yawned.

'Jamie, go. You know I hate waking up early.'
