Guardian with claws (A RotG fan-fic)

Chapter 5

*POV Anna*

I stood up and walked out of the stable. Where could I find Santa and the others? Then I remembered what Jack had said: follow the light or ask a yeti. I tried the second one and went searching for some yetis. When I found some, they were making little Christmas toys. I always thought the elfs made the toys.

'Excuse me?' I asked a yeti. He looked up from his painting work.

'Can you bring me to Santa Claus?' He said something in a mumbling language, which I couldn't understand. I shook my head.

'I'm sorry, but I can't understand you.' He stood up and grabbed my hand. He led me to a place with a big, spinning globe. There were Santa with the other four.

'Thanks,' I said to the yeti. He nodded and walked back.

'Euhm... guys?' I asked shyly.

*POV Jack*

We were discussing about what the new guardian was like, when we heard Anna's voice. I turned around and saw her standing there. She looked so shy right now. And a little sad, too.

'Hello Anna. Welcome on North Pole,' North said.

'Euhm... thanks.' Bunny hopped over to her.

'What's wrong, mate? You look so sad. And it's Easter tomorrow! You can't be sad on Easter, can you?' A little smile appeared on her face.

'No, I can't. But I just miss home and Jamie and Sophie. I don't know how I ended up here, but I want to be home right now. All this stuff is too confusing,' she said.

'Let's bring you home, then,' I said.

'With the sleigh,' North added. We went to the sleigh.

'Wow,' Anna said surprised. She began to laugh. 'It's awesome!' I looked at North.

'Everybody loves the sleight!' I said laughing.

*POV Bunnymund*

Anna stepped in the sleigh and the rest followed. I was still hesitating.

'Why don't you get in?' Anna asked.

'Bunny is scared of the height,' Jack laughed. I only groaned. He was right, I was scared of the height. What if I fell out of the sleigh, then I'd be dead.

'Would you please get in? For me? Please?' she begged with big puppy eyes. I sighed.

'Fine! But only this ride.' I hopped in.

'Yeah.' Anna started to stroke me and it felt amazing. Then I remembered what she was doing and pushed her hands away.

'Don't do that. And those puppy eyes too.' She laughed and North took off.

*POV Anna*

Santa took off and I yelled from excitement. Next to me Bunny yelled too, but then from fear. With his claws he scratched the sleigh. I grabbed one of his paws in my hands.

'Relax Bunny, everything will be fine. Don't worry, we are not going to let you fall, right Santa?' He nodded. Bunny slowly relaxed. He was still scared, but less than before.

'You said everything was confusing. What was so confusing?' the Tooth Fairy asked me. I hesitated. I had so much questions, I didn't know where to start.

'How did I end up here at the Pole?'

'Cottontails fault,' Jack said. I gave him an angry look. He raised his hands.

'Sorry. It was Bunny's fault.'

'It was not my fault, I just had to take her somewhere out of the Warren!'

'Okay, next question.' I said. 'Can I have my phone back?'

'Oh, of course. Sorry for taking it away from you,' Tooth Fairy said when she gave my phone back.

*POV Tooth*

'Have you got any other questions?' Anna nodded.

'I heard you talking about a new guardian and saw that blue light. What was that all about?' We shared each other a worried look. Must we tell her? 'Or can't I know it?' she asked softly. North shook his head.

'You can know it. We are guardians and we protect the children. The light you saw came from Man in Moon. He chose the new guardians,' he said.

'So who is the new guardian?'

'We don't know,' I said.

'But she looks like you,' Jack said.

'Oh... okay.' We were almost in Burgess. When North landed, we jumped out of the sleigh, Bunny first.

*POV Anna*

I jumped out of the sleigh and ran to the house. I opened the door. Jamie's mother wasn't home yet, luckily. The guardians walked inside. I ignored them and softly walked up the stairs. Sophie was sleeping and I walked to Jamie's room. I opened the door and saw a man in black cloths. He had Jamie in his hand. Jamie looked scared.

'Who are you?'

'I'm Pitch Black, the Boogyman. It's nice to meet you, Anna,' the man said. I was surprised that he knew my name.

'Let Jamie go!'

'Nah, I don't think so.' I got angry an jumped on the man. He vanished and I fell on the ground. I heard the guardians on the stairs.

'What's wrong? Where is Jamie?' Jack asked.

'A man in black cloths kidnapped him.' I sat down on his bed and held my head in my hands. I had to cry.

'What must I do?'
