Guardian with claws (A RotG fan-fic)

Chapter 9

*POV Anna*

There I stood, in my rumpled cloths and with my messy hair.

'What are you doing here?' I asked before I yawned.

'I just wanted to make sure that you, Sophie and Jamie were okay and that Pitch didn't come back.' Jack said with a big smile. I raised my eyebrow.

'Did you want that, or did the other guardians want that?' He rolled with his eyes.

'We all wanted it.'

'Well, as you can see, we are okay and there is nothing to worry about. So, bye Jack.'

'But...'

'Bye Jack.' I repeated as I pointed to the door. He left and I walked upstairs to change my cloths. Then I walked to the guest room and woke Sophie up. After I helped her with her dress, we walked downstairs and woke Jamie up.

*POV Bunnymund*

I looked at all the children who were searching for eggs. They didn't see me, because I was hidden well. Suddenly I saw Sophie running with a little egg basket in her hands. If Sophie was here, than Jamie and Anna must be here too. I saw Anna walking to a picnic table next to the bushes I was in.

'Hello mate,' I said. She looked up and saw me. A smile appeared.

'Hi Bunny. Happy Easter.' I smiled.

'You too. How are you? And how is Jamie?'

'I'm fine. And Jamie...' She looked around to find him.

'He's talking to his friends. So everything is back to normal, I guess.' I heard someone growl and I saw two dogs in front of me.

'Abby, Husky, no!'

The dogs immediately reacted and walked to her.

*POV Anna*

Husky and Abby walked to me. Abby placed her forelegs on my chest.

'Hi girl,' I said. She licked my face and barked.

'Ugh, nasty!' I laughed. I heard Bunny laughing too.

'Husky, come.'

Husky came to me and I whispered something in his ear. He turned around and walked to Bunny.

'What is he...' Before Bunny could end his sentence, Husky licked his face. And then I mean his entire face. I couldn't stop laughing.

'Okay Husky, that's enough,' I said as I wiped the tears out of my eyes.

Husky stopped and walked wagging to me.

'That wasn't nice, mate.'

'Who said I was nice?'

*POV Pitch*

I looked from the shadows to the children, but especially to Jamie. He was talking to his friends, instead of searching for Easter eggs. That was good, no, that was great! That meant that my plan is going to work. Soon there will be nothing more than darkness and fear. And me. The guardians will be destroyed forever. Oh, I really looked forward to destroy them!

*POV Jack*

I was a little disappointed that Anna sent me away so rude. So I wanted some fun and decided to go see the Easter hunt. I flew to the park and saw Anna sitting at a picnic table. She was laughing because Husky licked the kangaroo’s face. I laughed too, it looked really funny. Sophie was running everywhere to search for eggs. Then I went searching for Jamie. I only saw his friends, so I stopped by and ask them.

'Hey, guys.'

'Hey Jack,' Cupcake said.

'Do you know where Jamie is?' Caleb nodded.

'He went that way.' He pointed to where Jamie was.

'Okay, see you later!' I said as I flew away. After a few minutes I saw Jamie walking.

'Jamie!' He didn't answer. I landed next to him. 'Jamie, want is wrong?'

He still didn't answer. I started laughing. 'Oh, I know what this is. You're playing a game with me. Well, I can that too.'

I tried to be silent as long as possible. I sighed. 

'No, I can't.'

I jumped in front of him. He looked really tired, like he hadn't slept for half this night. Which he actually did. He still continued walking until he had to bump into me. But he walked through me! I gasped. This was not good. This was really not good!

*POV Anna*

I was still chatting with Bunny, when Jack arrived. He had a worried look on his face. That means he’s playing a game, or there is really something wrong. Nah, that's impossible.

'There is something wrong. Jamie doesn't believe in me anymore,' Jack said. Bunny laughed.

'That's the worst joke you've ever made. Jamie is your first believer, mate!'

'I'm serious, guys!'

I laughed. 'Jack, you're never serious.'

'And now I am!' Jack almost started to yell. 'Bunnymund, trust me! I'm telling the truth!'

Bunny looked shocked and turned to me. 'He's telling the truth! Jack never uses my full name, unless it is serious!'
