"Well this seems empty," Chloe muttered as we ate lunch.

"What's wrong, baby?" Alex cooed beside her. Their relationship had become public not more than ten minutes ago, and I was already expecting them to get married. Honestly though, I was happy for Chloe. I really was.

But they were even more romantic than Cole and I ever would even think about being, and though I understood why they were so into each other, I wasn't used to that much romance.

Across the table, I saw Em swooning over Chloe's newfound relationship, and Dylan smiling at her.

Honestly, had everyone gotten together their crush? What the hell-

"Hey Rose?"

I looked to see Cole staring at me with those devious eyes of his. He's up to something.

"Yes?" I answered, trying to keep to my cool, though it was almost impossible around him.

"I wanna show you something."

He stood up and went over to my side, taking my hand to help me up.

"Ooh, where are you two lovebirds going?" Raquel teased.

"Just to the lake," Cole shrugged, leading us away from the table, his hand still entwined in mine. As we walked out of the cafeteria, we passed Ashley's table.

She looked like she was 200% done with everyone there, but when she saw me, she instantly turned to her joke of a boyfriend and started making out with him. I rolled my eyes, finally leaving the scene.

About ten minutes later, we were still walking, further and further into the woods, but the lake was no where to be found.

"Um, Cole?" I giggled nervously, "I don't think we're getting any closer to the lake."

"Oh, we're not going to the lake."

"Is this where you show me your secret psychopath lair?"

Cole laughed. "Yeah sure, something like that."

"Well I'm tired."

He stopped for a little, picking me up to give me a piggy back ride, before continuing on to wherever we were going. Another twenty minutes came and went, and still nothing.

I was about to complain when I saw a familiar house not more than six yards away from us.

"I thought we were going to your house tomorrow?"

"I lied."

"Should I be worried?"

"Not really. Why, do you want to be?"

His voice was playful again, and though I liked this side of Cole, it drove me insane.

His house brought back memories of Asher twerking in their backyard, and about how it started raining in the middle of summer, and how fun it was being here.

I really missed it.

Once inside, we went straight to his room, and then I did start to worry since he seemed very eager to get up there.

"Hey Cole, thi-" I was cut off by his lips, and as he kissed me passionately, his weight pushing me backwards, closing the door behind us.

"I've been waiting to do this," he told me before his tongue entered my mouth again. My arms instinctively traveled upwards to his neck as he lifted me up.
