I woke up and the camp was empty, Ana was gone. I had to look for her, I packed up my stuff and went to look for her. Me and the walkers. I quietly moved around the city setting and made my way to a thrift store. The bottom half was clear, walkers were held behind doors. I walked around and up to the roof where I saw people.
"Hello?" I say with no clue of what was appropriate to say anymore
"Who the hell are you" a blonde woman says, gun to my head and an arm across my throat she pushed me against a wall
"Andrea!" I heard a familiar voice
"Ana?" I ask
"I'm here"
Andrea pulled the gun off me and let me go. I ran to Ana and hugged her tightly.
"Where'd you go?"
"I was gonna make a quick run but I found a group. I was gonna come back for you but we got held up by some walkers" she led me to the edge of the roof and saw them. I made it past them but it looks like there were more now.
I turned to see the group. I scoffed at the sight of the cop.
"The hell is that getup for, sheriff?" I asked not even thinking
"For show" he answered
"That's all it's for. There isn't any law anymore. Where are you from? You're not Atlanta PD"
"Up the road aways. Nowhere important"
"The important thing is getting us out of here" Andrea said
"And getting me. Out of these" a man who was handcuffed to the roof said
"I don't think that's a priority, Merle"
"The dead. What makes them know that we're alive?" Grimes asked
"They hear us" Another man said
"I can't go out there and just walk past them" I said
"They smell us. They smell dead, we don't" Ana says
"So how do we smell dead?" Andrea asked

Rick had Glenn and Morales drag in two walker bodies. Rick opened an emergency axe box and pulled the axe out. He lifts the axe to swing but he stops.
"Too chicken to do it, Grimes?" I say and he ignores me. He bends down and pulls out the mans wallet.
"He had 38$ in his wallet when he died, and a picture of a pretty girl. A picture of you" Rick said and handed me the picture.
I looked at it, it was me. I looked at the man and it was my dad. I didn't want to cry in front of the others so I turned my back to them.
"Let me do it" I say and put my hand out
"You sure?" Ana asked me
"Just let me" I pressed and Rick handed me the axe.
I swung it. It chopped off his arm and I kept going. Their were guts all over, his stomach and intestines. I moved to the next walker and did the same. I dropped the axe and took a deep breath.
"Isabelle" Ana says my name
"I'm fine" I say "I wanna go. Cover me" I spread out my arms for someone to cover me in the guts
"Isabelle. Only Rick and Glenn are going"
"I want to go. I need to help out" I dig into the walkers stomach and everyone looks at me odd.
"Don't get any on your skin or in your eyes" Rick says and I continue to cover myself.
"Our aim is to get to that truck. We'll have to climb over the fence" Rick tells me and Glenn as we stood by the door.
We started to walk. Rick held an axe by his side and I held my machete. Walkers would get close but never attacked. We had to climb under a bus but we kept moving without being noticed. We walked slowly and it was annoying but it was key to our survival. Soon clouds rolled over us and the sky grew dark. Glenn was growing anxious and had a hard time keeping it together. It started to rain and that meant we would stop smelling. Before I knew it, Rick killed one of the walkers and that triggered 1000s to run after us. I was the last to the fence and more walkers were at my ankles than theirs. I made it over but fell as I was trying to go over, the fence fell too. I tried to get up but I couldn't and a walker was about to eat me before someone picked me up and threw me into the truck and I was safe. I looked to my left and saw Rick out of breath and it must've been him.
"Thank you" I told him
"Didn't know those words could even make it out of your mouth" he said as he drove away
"We can't leave them"
"We gotta lead the walkers away and then we can go back"

Rick stopped at a red car and broke the window. The car alarm was blaring and I felt as if all the walkers would be at our throats soon.
"You need to lead them away so I can get to the store with Isabelle" Rick says to Glenn as he gets in the car
Rick gets in the truck and tells the bothers the message and I get in too. We followed Glenn into the city. The walkers swarmed his car but he got them away. Rick backed into the truck drop off of the store and climbed through the back to let them know we were here. They opened the wall from the inside and got into the truck. Rick got back in the front and started to drive. I looked in the back, Ana and I gave each other looks to let each other know that we're okay. I did notice Merle was missing though, not that I exactly wanted him to come back.
"I dropped the key" T-Dog says to answer everyone's looks.
"Daryl won't be happy" Morales says
"Daryl?" Rick asked
"Merle's brother"
