In the morning I waited for Ana to wake up. I didn't want to be alone. I did brush my teeth and fix up my hair quickly. I changed into the clothes that were given to us. I did put on a hoodie for extra coverage to be safe. When I saw Ana rustle I became excited, I wanted to eat.
"Good morning" I said with a smile
"How long have you been up?" She asked groggily
"A few minutes"
"Mmm. Okay. Let me get dressed and we can go, since it seems that you're waiting for me"

When she was ready we walked to the cafeteria. Everyone was hung over and Glenn looked the worse. I sat between Rick and Ana.
"It's not my best, but i made some powdered eggs" T-Dog says and hands out eggs
I saw Shane walk in and I immediately looked down at my plate. I played around with my food.
"Shane, do you feel as bad as I do?" Rick asks
"Worse" Shane mumbles and I see his chair move from across the table.
I slowly lifted my head up. I took a bite of my food.
"What happened to you?" Rick asks him and I shuffled around nervously.
I looked over to see him. Small cuts were scattered on his face, they were all scabbing.
"Must've happened in my sleep" he says and looks to me
"Never seen you do that before"
"Yeah. Not like me at all"
Jenner walks in soon after.
"I don't mean to bombard you with questions first thing in the morning-" Dale starts
"But you will anyways" he says
"We didn't come for the eggs" Andrea says
Jenner led us into the main room.
"Vi, pull up the the brain scans of test subject 19" he says and the screen lights up. We see a human brain.
"What are those things moving?" Carl asks
"Synapses. Experience, memories, somewhere in all of that is what makes you, you. It makes you unique and human, now the virus attacks. The 'first event'"
The brain goes dark, the body died.
"Everything you ever were or ever will be, gone"
"Is that what happened to Jim?" Sophia asks and Carol nods to her as a response.
Andrea sat on the ground looking upset. Jenner looks down at her.
"She lost her sister two days ago" Lori tells him and he walks to her.
"I lost somebody too. I know how devastating it is" he tries to console her and stands up to the screen again
"Vi, fast forward to the 'second event'" he said and the brain stayed dark as the time in the corner moved by quickly. Soon the time goes to normal and a part of the brain lights up.
