"Rory, a real treat to see you here!" Hector smiled at her and gave her a huge hug. "Where have you been?"

She smiled awkwardly. "Just been busy, that's all."

"Glad we could have you here." Hector was just like a sun, so radiant and powerful. Rory just loved that about him.

"Hey Rors!" Seth ran up to her and picked her up, enclosing her in a tight hug. It had been almost two weeks since the whole 'Matt' incident, so Seth and Rory were starting to become good friends. "I'm glad you came."

"Why would I miss this? I mean, you did invite me." She looked around the house as Seth put her down. The house still never ceased to amaze her. Rory hugged Seth once again. "Ahhh, I missed you so much."

"We literally saw each other like two days ago. I brought you Chipotle on Tuesday for your lunch, remember?" She thought back to Tuesday, and she vaguely remembered getting a text from Seth asking her about her order from Chipotle.

"Oh shit, you're right."

"Come and eat!" Hector yelled at them, making Seth and Rory migrate to the kitchen where the rest of the house was already getting food.

Rory caught a glimpse of Matt sitting down on the couch, and at that moment, she knew she wasn't the only one between them that had been majorly fucking around.

To start, Matt had hickeys practically covering his neck, the hat was off and his hair was tousled like the strands had been played with a thousand times over. His face smiled with a sinister vibe to it, and something about it made Rory super uncomfortable being around him. It's like once Rory was gone the whole sweet baby Matt was gone. She was the one who kept him grounded, and it was all thrown in the trash.

It didn't matter who Matt was with anymore, it wasn't her problem because he had told her to leave, and she did exactly that. And yeah, it might have been her fault that she didn't pull away from Nick, but pushing her away was all on him.

A part of her knew that he still cared about her right now and forever to come but Rory knew the rest of his feelings towards her were resentment and sadness. All she wanted to do was make him feel better but she just didn't know how.
