Matt had already slept with two girls that day, and they were going out tonight so that meant even more.
Seth's phone was buzzing with Twitter notifications and texts from Rory, and Matt just wanted to throw it out of the window and let it break so he didn't have to hear the 'bzzz' every two seconds.
"We're rooming together, right?" Seth turned to Matt, waiting for his response. To his dismay, Matt sighed and mumbled a 'yes'.
See, it wasn't that they didn't like each other and weren't 'Mr. and Mrs. Abner' anymore, they were just... not close. They had no chemistry together whatsoever after this whole Rory thing came up. They both liked the same girl.

A few days had passed and the guys were heading to LA to regroup the whole squad at E3 and play their show match against FaZe.
After the win at Anaheim, all of OpTic was just way cocky, blew everything out of proportion, and overall just pissing Rory off. If this was what it was like to celebrate a well deserved win, she didn't want to stick around for the rest of the parties.
Like, Seth had already snapped at her that day for linking up with Phil and Natalie Monroe and not telling him where she was going. And they met up two days prior, in Anaheim.
"Rors?" Seth called from the bathroom. "Come check this for me?"
She walked into the bathroom, where Seth pretended to pick at something. "Come closer."
Walking over in front of him she looked and looked but found nothing besides Seth's horny self picking her up and setting her on the counter to kiss her tenderly.
Quickly she pushed him away and thought of a brilliant idea.

Matt was enraged. He had heard them have sex, he had watched them kiss and make out and touch each other in the same spots they used to touch each other in, but nothing got him more pissed than seeing her go public. Sure, maybe a few people had caught on at Anaheim but this was a whole new level. She had confirmed that she moved on from Matt and wanted nothing to do with him. And that stung like a bitch, it hurt more than when he saw Nick and Rory kissing, or any of it beyond that point. He was heartbroken for no reason.
