"Matt, no!" Rory sighed, quickly pulling his hand away from the chocolate bar sitting on the counter. "We're supposed to be eating healthy today, remember?"

"Okay, mom. I'm gonna act like I didn't see you eating that bag of Fritos when we were watching The Office."

"Whatever." Rory smiled and opened her phone and went on Twitter to scroll through her timeline. "Oh my God.. Matt.."

"Wow, I just can't believe he's gone, you know?" Matt sighed. "He was such a good guy, a great teammate. He had it all."

"Gone too soon. Phil was amazing." Hector shook his head. "A great kid. Always so happy to be playing and now he's just gone."

"In my opinion, the best search player in the world, by a mile." Rory said, locking her phone. "This just really hurts. I miss him. That night we went out in Anaheim was one of the best nights of my entire life."

mom u remember phil right? the kid who used to always play wagers with me when i played advanced warfare?

Phil's death certainly took a toll on her life. Her birthday was in two days and she was not looking forward to celebrating it without getting a happy birthday tweet from him.

She had taken off streaming for a bit, and the only people she talked to anymore were her parents, Magda, and Matt.

And she couldn't imagine how Matt and the rest of the guys were doing right about now. They had known Phil longer than she had, and they seemed to be fine about it and all moved on. Maybe she was just overthinking this whole thing a little too much.
