"Okay, so are you gonna tell me who this Lissa girl is?" Ian asked Matt, stabbing his fork into his salad.

"Replacement until Rory's broken up and over with Seth."

"God, dude, you're so whipped."

"Tell me about it, big boy."

"Can you fucking explain to me why you ran off without telling me?" Seth yelled, running to catch up with Rory. She quickened her pace, dragging the suitcase along with her. "Answer me, god dammit!"

Aurora turned around. "You really want to know why I left? Because of you."

"Me? What the fuck did I do?" He threw his hands up before placing one on his hip and one on his forehead. "You know what? I don't even want to know."

"I'm so glad I didn't go to Orlando with you and waste my money, you fucking pig!" Rory shouted, sighing angrily and grabbing her bag and started speed walking once more.

"And why's that?"

"'Cause all you would've done was cheat on me once more!" She fell to the ground, throwing her face in her palms and started crying. "I'm in love with you, Seth, and all you do is treat me like shit!"

"Don't cry," He squatted awkwardly to try to console her, but she shoved him over and he tumbled back. Seth stumbled back up, raising a hand to hit her. "Don't fucking push me, you god damn —"

"Hey, leave her the hell alone, dude." A guy with short blond hair came over and shoved Seth away from Rory.

"Who the fuck are you?" Seth laughed maniacally, as if some kind of villain. "Mind your own fucking business, bro."

"I'll beat the shit out of you if I have to." He blocked Seth's view of his girlfriend, who's makeup was running down her face from crying.

"This isn't fucking over, Rory!" Seth yelled as he exited the airport. Immediately, the blond rushed over to help Aurora up.

"Hey, are you okay?" His hand lifted her chin up, staring into her blue eyes. "Here, let me take you home."

"Thank you so much," She said, taking in the mystery man's features. "I-I don't think I'll ever repay you for that."

"It's fine." He chuckled. "Let's get out of here before security throws us out."

"Thank you again." She looked through the rolled down window opening at the man. "I never got your name."

"Alex." He smiled. "I'll probably come back again."

"Good." She smiled and he rolled up the window, driving off.

"Did you take Rory home?" Matt asked, turning around to look at Seth. All he wanted to know is if Rory got home safe.

"No, she left with some douchebag. Told me I wasn't good enough for her and she just left." He slammed the door to his bedroom, making a big bang sound that echoed through the quiet room.

Matt pulled out his phone, opening a new conversation with Rory.

Yo are you home

From: Rory

yeah lol i am. why?

To: Rory

Seth told me you left with some guy and that you told him that he wasn't good enough..

From: Rory

"So, do you believe him or me now?" Rory rolled her eyes, the chips she was eating making loud crunching sounds that made Matt cringe.

"Why would you leave with Alex, though? Weren't you scared he was gonna like kidnap you or something?"

"Get over yourself. It doesn't matter if he did, it's not like I want to be here anyways."

"Don't say that.."

"Why not? It's true." She went on pause. "Chicago holds no purpose for me anymore. I should be long gone by now."

"Rory, don't leave."

"I could be in New York!" Her lips curved into a smile. "Or Paris. I've always wanted to live there! You guys could come visit me every year when you go to ESWC."

"Too long. I'd be missing you too bad."

"Liar."

"I speak the truth." He laughed. "Hey, I'm gonna go to sleep now. Text me tomorrow?"

"Goodnight, Matt." She ended the call, leaving him hanging.
