"Hey."

"Hi." Rory smiled as Colt sat down in the seat next to hers. "Is Chipotle okay?"

"Yeah, sounds amazing."

"How'd you like Chicago?"

"It was great. A nice change from Texas." He said. "I love the place, but sometimes it just gets old."

"I get you, I've lived in Chicago all of my life and I wish I could leave."

"What do you mean? You could leave anytime."

"I have a lot here that keeps me from leaving. All my friends and family live here. I'd never leave them." He nodded, and the car fell into a comfortable silence. Rory really liked his presence and the vibes he gave off. Colt was so innocent and sweet.

Arriving at Chipotle, they got their food and Colt generously paid for her bowl. They sat down at a two seater and talked the whole time, about everything on the face of the Earth. Soon enough, they were driving back to the Mariott.

"I had a great time." Rory said as they stopped at his hotel room door. "Thank you for my Chipotle."

"You're welcome." She smiled and turned around to leave, but not before Colt could grab her wrist. "Stay."

Rory laughed and he dragged her into his room, slamming the door shut behind them.

"I'm glad we can both agree this was just a little fling." He said, checking his phone and texting his dad back.

"Yeah me too." Aurora parked her car in a car park, and she grabbed Colt's carry on from the trunk. "You ready to leave?"

"Not quite. I feel like I want to stay longer, but I'm not booking another flight. Plus I have to get on the grind for Champs."

"I get you." He held the door open for her as they walked into the airport, which surprisingly was a bit full even though it was nine at night. Colt read the signs, finding the one with his gate on it.

"There it is." He looked at Rory, who was looking at him.

"Flight Thirty-Seven." She heard the lady talking through the intercom, and she handed Colt his bag and he started to walk away.

"Colt! Wait." He stopped and turned around. "Next summer if I'm not with Matt, I'll come down."

"See you at Champs?" He said. Aurora put her arms around his neck and she leaned in for a sweet kiss.

"See you at Champs." She smiled and turned to walk out of the airport.

"Mom! Dad! I'm home!" Rory yelled, walking into the house and shutting the door behind her.

"Where have you been, young lady?" Mr. Müller said, walking into the living room where Rory laid down on the couch.

"I just took my friend to the airport. He had a flight today." Her mom walked into the room, sitting down next to her husband with a cup of coffee. "Can we talk? I haven't talked to you guys in a while."

"What is it?"

Rory and her parents talked for hours, explaining and discussing everything that had happened in her life. She felt as if she was keeping secrets from them, and she never liked keeping stuff from them. "And at the end of this all, I still love Matt. I'll always love Matt."

"If you love him so much, why don't you get back together with him?"

"It's not that simple, Dad. Relationships take time, and I don't even know if he loves me anymore."

"From what it sounds like, he does. And I'm sure all of your friends would tell you he still loves you."

"I don't know.. I just miss being with him a lot. He's an amazing guy."

"So when are we going to properly meet him?"

"Soon, I hope." Rory sighed. "I want no bullshit with him. I'm not going to make the same mistakes like I did last time."

"I hope not." Her mother said. "Can you believe one kiss led to all of this, Hans?"

He chuckled and shook his head. "I can't believe it."
