Cracked

Zayn's POV

"Thanks mates for helping me with this" I say.

"Of course, we just want to help" Niall says.

"I can't wait till she hears this!" I sort of whisper.

Louis chuckles. "Don't worry, I'm sure she'll love it." He says.

I can tell louis was a bit unsure of the words that came out of his mouth but it doesn't matter to me. I'm not going to sit back and be miserable I'm going to make things okay. Get them back the way they were. Right? she would take me back?

"The song is great, I think she'll be touched" Liam says, smiling. I look over all the boys and Niall is giving Liam an odd look. I don't think much of it so I just move on.

"That was great! I think we're done here." one of the producers says from the other side of the booth.

The boys and I walk out the recording booth. "So when are we releasing it?" I ask.

"The song or the album?" the producer asks.

"Both." I say.

"Well if we want the song to be a single we can release as soon as we can but the album is set to release in November.

"When can we release the song?" I ask.

"Soon, if that's what you boys want?" He asks.

"Of Course!" Louis helps.

The rest of the boys nod their heads and we agree on a set date.

This has honestly been the happiest I felt since the whole incident.

Liam's POV

We agreed on a set date and I'm happy for Zayn. After all I am the one who ruined it all and I just don't know what to do to fix it. What if he hates me for what I did? Niall doesn't seem to hate me but certainly isn't happy with me.

I know it's time to come clean. Ill do it soon! I just, I have to give him time to get her back and then explain it. Don't I?

To be completely honest I don't know what to do anymore. I don't want to ruin what I have with the guys but I have to tell them. I know I do. This is going I be the hardest thing I've ever done.

Soon the set date for I would approached and as the day got closer and closer Zayn just seemed to get more and more happy as if he knew it would all work out and I enjoyed seeing him at his most happy. He deserves it.

I on the other hand. Not so much, but fixing this giant mess should help me to be a better person. At least that's what I hope.

"Tomorrow is the day leeyum!" Zayn shouts enthusiastically as he enters my room, swinging the door open.

"I know mate" I say with a chuckle. "I'm glad to see you so happy" I add.

"I just can't believe it, by tomorrow she will have heard it and know that no matter what, it's still her." Zayn says with a smile.

"Wow. Haven't seen that smile in so long." I say smiling at his happiness.

"I know! I just finally feel like things are going to be back to the way it was." Zayn says, giddy.

"Alright, well calm down there. Save some of that energy for the release." I smile.

"You got it leeyum!" he says as he leaves my room.

Shortly after Zayn left the room I heard a soft knock on the door.

"Come in" I yell from my bed.

Niall comes in and closes the door behind him.

"I know I said I wouldn't tell Zayn but you better tell him and Harry as for a matter too." He says as he sits at the foot of my bed.

"I know, I will. I'm just waiting for him to get her back so maybe he'll be less mad plus I could tell them both at the same time. Him and Amari." I say.

"Don't forget Harry, he needs to know too." Niall adds.

"Yes, and Harry." I say. "Niall, are you still angry at me?" I ask.

"I told you. I'm not angry with you. I'm just disappointed." Niall says with a sad emotion.

"I can fix it!" I yell siting up on my bed.

"You don't know that Liam" Niall whispers.

"But I do know you don't deserve this and I fucked it up pretty bad. You deserve to be happy and even if I die trying I promise to fix everything." I say as I place my hand on Niall's back as he slouched.

"It's great of you to try but don't make promises you can't keep" Niall says as he gets up and leaves my room.

I get up from my bed and went into my bathroom, locking the door. I haven't done it in so long but I grab my blade and with a swipe forms a new cut. Now every cut forming a new scar.

The guilt had built and now I knew I had broke. Everything went blurry as the tears formed. I had hurt those closest to me and was too selfish to realise it.
