How does she deal with it?

Mari's POV

Niall and I leave with Liam, Harry and Louis to the car. We all get in and Louis takes us to Niall's house. Liam also gets out of the car and Louis and Harry drive away.

"Bye Liam," Niall says.

"Bye Niall," Liam says.

"Um, bye Liam," I say as Liam waves bye and walks away towards a house at the end of the block.

I had a lot of fun at Zayn's, he and Amari seem really happy together.

"C'mon," Niall says.

"Coming," I say as I follow him to his house.

Niall's house is pretty big, it looks like someone else lives here but it doesn't look like his parents are the ones.

"Do you live with anyone?" I ask him.

"Um, yeah, I live with my uncle. Well he's more like a cousin," Niall says.

A guy? I have to deal with two? I guess so. "What happened to your parents?" I ask him. He looked at the ground and says "I actually moved here from Ireland. My parents still live over there and I live here now."

"I'm sorry I brought it up," I say as I hug Niall. He slowly hugs me back. I get this funny feeling at the bottom of my stomach. I pull away and ask, "want food?" Niall looks at me and gives a slight smile.

I grab his arm and pull him as I walk out the door. "C'mon I know a really good pizza place," I say as I lead him down the street.

Zayn's POV

The boys left and so did Mari. Now it's just me and my lovely girlfriend. I know I was a little obnoxious to the boys today but I can't really help it. I guess Liam and Niall were right, I fall hard.

"You alright there?" Amari asks.

"Hmm, yeah. Perfect," I say as I pull her in for a hug.

After Mari and the boys left, me and Amari decided to go to the park. It was a beautiful night and I really enjoyed the walk with her. I guess I was a little into my own thoughts to realize Amari trying to show me something.

"What happened?" I ask her.

"Oh, I wanted to show you something," she says, grabbing my arm and dragging me to this area in the park I never knew before.

Wow, It's beautiful! How come I never knew about this area?

A large and secluded grassy area in the park right by the water. There was a bench and plenty of bushes all around to hide this little yet large area.

"It's amazing," I say as I give a smile.

Amari twirls around in the grassy area in the center of this large field. I chuckle and walk over to her. I grab her waist and she stops twirling. She looks immediately into my eyes and I give her a smile. She smiles and looks down to the ground. I move my hand to her cheek and lift her head up. There's a sparkle in her eyes because of the moonlight and I lean down to kiss her.

Amari smiles into the kiss and I pull away and give her a smile. She is special to me. She is herself and isn't afraid of it. She's her own person. I don't think I can think of any other person who would be in the middle of the park in this hidden field twirling around enjoying the night.

Amari walks over to the bench and I follow her and sit right next to her. I look at Amari and she is looking up at the sky staring at the stars. I put my arm around her and she looks at me with a look of happiness.

I smile and kiss her. We pull away and I see a smile appear on her face. The only thought in my mind is that I love being the reason for her smile.

She smiles and rests her head on my shoulder.

"So how did you find this place?" I ask.

"Oh, I found this place when my dad left. He left because of my mom and couldn't take me with him because he wasn't stable enough to support both of us. I don't blame him for leaving. My mother was horrible. What I would do to see him again," Amari says as some tears roll down her checks.

"Anyways, I found this place wandering around the park every day. I never wanted to be home with my mother so I would come here, it was like my escape to everything. I have even came here and written songs before," Amari says.

"I'm really sorry. I don't know how you deal with all of this. I deal with my family not being around because of what happened," I say.

I hug Amari and smile so she feels better. She deals with so much I don't get it. How does she deal with it? She is unlike anyone I've ever met.

I'm just glad that I can always make her smile, I'm glad shes mine.
