Taking it slow?...

Amari's POV

After Niall and Liam left I hopped in the shower and put on pyjamas after.

I came out into the living room to find Zayn watching friends again. I ran over to the couch and jump onto his lap.

"Hi there," I giggle.

"Hi," he says back laughing.

I slide over next to him and he gives me a funny look.

"No, stay," he says pulling me back on his lap.

He wraps his arms around me pulling me close and I look at him. He leans in and kisses me softly on the lips. I kiss back until I pull away. I look in his eyes and smile. He looks at me and smiles back.

I laugh.

"What happened to taking it slow?" I ask him.

"I don't like taking it slow. I want you to be mine," he says.

A smile appears on my face.

"I agree," I say.

He smiles and places his head in the crook of my neck and kisses me gently on the neck. I turn towards him and kiss him, placing my lips on his.

We pull away and I place my head on his shoulder as he places his head in the crook of my neck. We watch friends for a while.

"Do you have a movie we could watch?" I ask.

"Yeah, what movie?" he asks.

"What do you have?" I ask.

"I don't know let's have a look" he says as we get up from the couch and walk over to the DVD rack on the wall.

"This one?" Zayn asks.

I look at him and the movie. He is holding the hunger games.

"Yes!" I say.

Zayn puts in the movie and we walk back to the couch. We sit down and he pulls me back up on his lap. I giggle and he wraps his arms around me, cuddling me.

I stay wrapped in his arms on his lap and I feel myself falling asleep.

Zayn's POV

I look at Amari and she is falling asleep.

"You must really like sleeping" I whisper in her ear.

She looks at me and laughs.

"I do but i don't want to fall asleep right now," she says.

"Help me stay awake," she tells me.

"Okay," I say with a smile.

I kiss Amari on the neck leading a trail of kisses. She looks at me and I kiss her on the gently on the lips. I pull away and give a smile as I say "you awake now?"

"Yes," she says with a small smile.

We turn our attention back to the tv and see Katniss getting Rue from the net. I turn back to Amari. She looks like she's about to cry.

"Are you okay?" I ask her.

Amari starts to cry and I look back to the tv. She's crying because Rue is dying?

"No! Why?!" Amari yells.

"Are you crying because that little girl is dying?" I ask.

"Yea.... Its really emotional when you read the book," she says.

I lean closer and kiss her on the nose. She stops crying and smiles.

"It's cute you care," I say.
