NIALL: “Come on baby, let’s get you situated.” I help you along into the house with my arm around your waist. I can’t believe how brave you were. I know how scary that must have been, and I’m so proud of you for being so amazing about the whole thing. It honestly felt like I was more worried than you. I help you over to the bed and lay you down. The doctor said you should sleep by yourself for the first week so I have your pillow and a blanket all set up on the couch for me. I gave you my pillow so that we could still kind of sleep together. I already have your favorite magazines on the bed, along with the remote, all your favorite junk foods, and your phone so you can call me if you have a problem while you’re sleeping or while I’m at work. “I smile as you rest your head on the pillow and get settled in. I start rambling on about how I’m so proud of you, and how I’m going to take great care of you for the next month, but when I look over you’re already sound asleep. I lean down and kiss your forehead before I leave to turn the light out and let you sleep.

LOUIS: “Louis!” I run into the room as fast as I can. “Yeah sweetie?” You give me the puppy dog face “Will you come lay with me?” You pull the covers away and pat the bed next to you. “Of course!” I smile and hop in, “but for the record, you didn’t need the puppy dog face. I’m pretty sure I would hop into bed with you if you were pissed of angry.” I laugh and wrap my arm around you so that you can snuggle your head into my neck. I start running your hair through my fingers. “How’s your knee feeling baby doll?” You look up at my with your bottom lip jutting out. “It hurts.” You hug me tighter. “Don’t worry babe, it’ll feel better soon.” I start humming to lull you to sleep.

ZAYN: “Sweet heart! I’m home! And I brought you your favorite! Broccoli and Cheese soup in a bread bowl with pita chips and hummus, and a sweet tea to drink!” I shout through the house and hear you shout in pain. I put the food on the table and run to the room to see you on the floor writhing in pain. “Y/N!” I run to your side to pick you up, “What happened?” I pick you up and put you back in the bed. “I wanted to get some water, but when I got up my leg gave out.” You start crying about the pain and I pull you close to my chest. “The doctor said that you shouldn’t walk on your own until they can take the stitches out and put the cast on.” Once you’re settled I go back to grab your soup. I come back and look at you, I don’t remember a time when I wasn’t ecstatic that I get to take care of you through everything. You must notice me staring because you give me a funny look. “I promise I won’t try to walk again without your help.” I smile and hand you the food. “Thank you.” I press my lips to your cheek. You taste so sweet, everything about you. Your glow just echoes through me and makes me so happy.

HARRY: “You know I love you so much.” I brush the strand of hair away from your face. The doctor said that the pain meds would make you really sleep, and you have to have quite a lot of pain meds since it was back surgery. I know you can’t hear me, and if you can you probably think it’s a dream. I just haven’t been able to leave your side since we got home because I promised I would take care of you and I don’t want anything to happen to you. You probably won’t wake up for a few more hours, but I just love watching you sleep and stroking your hair, and knowing that you’re safe. I was so worried before the surgery, and I’m glad it’s finally over, but I think I’m going to keep worrying until you’re able to work again. I already took a month off of work so that I can take care of you, the boys understand, and we made management understand.

LIAM: I’m finally able to lay down after getting you settled down and the babies to sleep. I know you’re in a lot so I’ve been trying to do as much for the babies as possible. The C-section was terrifying surprise and I’m still in shock about it. We knew they were twins, but we had everything planned out and they were in the perfect position, and we had a whole two weeks, but you felt something happening with the baby and you needed to go to the hospital. Thank God we did or else we would have lost one of them. The doctor said be careful with the bathroom, and walking’s going to be tough for a while. He also said no intercourse for a little bit, but honestly I don’t know if I want to do anything that could potentially put you in that much pain ever again.
