He cheats on you with your bestfriend "Harry"

you had just got a call from harry and he told you he needed to speak to you right away so you left the coffee shop where you were meeting your friend and drove home. you were really worried. why would harry need to speak to you this urgently , was something wrong with him or was there something wrong with you ? what if he wanted to break up with you. 

you and harry had been dating for 2 years and you had a flat together. yours and Harry’s relationship had its ups and downs just like any other couple. a few months ago you’d gone through a really rough patch and argued alot , harry started to stay out late and get drunk alot but you worked through it and you’d just got your relationship back on track about 2 weeks ago but in these last few days he had been taking secret phone calls and had been angry alot but you just put it down to stress from work. 

you arrived home and walked into your living room, harry was sat on the sofa with his head in his hands , he looked up when he saw you and his eyes were red and puffy like he’d been crying. you looked over to the other side of the room and your best friend who had moved away for work a couple of weeks ago was stood there , she looked sad and nervous and she was avoiding your eye contact. you took your shoes off and walked in ” sophia what are you doing here-harry whats going on ?” harry looked up at you and looked like he was about to burst into to tears again and sophia looked the same , they both stayed silent ” someone needs to explain to me whats going on ?” you felt yourself getting worried , why was your best friend and boyfriend sat in a room both close to crying and why would no one tell you what was going on , harry spoke up ” er Y/N i er we er need to tell you something?” you looked at him but he looked away ” i cheated on you with sophia, it was nothing serious it was when we went through that rough patch i love you-” you cut him off a few tears slipping down your cheek. you couldnt believe what he was saying . your best friend slept with your boyfriend and no one told you. you stared at sophia ” how could you do this to me? i thought we were friends ” she looked at you , guilt written all over her face ” i dont know Y/N but im so sorry. i never meant for this to happen but we were both hurting and needed company and one thing led to another and then we just kept going back to each other until we both realised how wrong it was” you were gobsmacked ” wait this happpened more than once” this time harry spoke up ” it only happened about 5-6 times it -” you cut him off again ” ONLY 5-6 HARRY ! IF I LOOK AT A  BOY YOU GO MAD AND YOU SLEPT WITH SOMEONE AND NOT JUST ANYONE A GIRL WHO WAS MY BESTFRIEND” sophia walked over to you ” calm down Y/N” you stepped away from her ” i will not calm down! do you understand what youve done to me i trusted you , i was there for you when your mum died and this is how you repay me ! i think you should leave” she sighed tears streaming down both of your faces ” Y/N please-” you shook your head ” NO you need to leave now and i never want to see you ever again. you can have harry if thats what you want but if i ever see your face here again i will tell everyone what you did” she rubbed her temples ” Y/N I DONT WANT YOUR STUPID BOYFRIEND IM SORRY ALRIGHT” ” YOUR SORRY THAT MAKES IT ALL OKAY DOES IT ! JUST LEAVE ME AND HARRY NEED TO TALK AND I DONT NEED YOU HERE” she seemed to get the message. she picked her bag up and walked to the door ” dont be to harsh on him it was a mistake alright weve all made them” the next thing you knew she had walked out of the house slamming the door behind her. you walked over to the chair in the corner and sat down, there were a million questions running round in your head , the main one being why?

i mean sophia always had been prettier than you , she was skinnier and had nicer eyes but she was shy and you were loud and you were smarter but harry obviously didnt care about that , he obviously wasnt who you thought he was.

you were brought out of your thoughts by harry “Y/N im sorry”  you looked across at him , you anger had gone and been replaced with utter heartbreak. ” is that all you can say harry ?” you couldnt bear to look at him. ” Y/N i-i dont know what to say to make it alright? just tell me and i will do it?” you sighed ” its never going to be alright harry but i want an explanation atleast , i deserve one dont i ” he nodded and rubbed at his temples ” er when we were going through that rough patch and we were arguing all the time , it was non stop and i was stressed from work on top of it all so i went to this bar and so did sophia , we were both unhappy and turned to alcohol , her boyfriend had split up with her and we weren’t talking so we er we slept together. i was drunk and dont remember it but i liked the company so we met up again a few times , the same thing happening , us both getting really drunk and then er one day we both realised how wrong it was. it wasnt that we loved each other or even had feelings for each other because its you i love, it was just we both didnt know how to cope and we addressed the situation badly. we met up for about the fifth night and i told her it was all a mistake and how i loved you and didnt want to be with anyone else and then i came home and we sorted things out. i didnt want to bring it up then because we’d finally got things back on track. everything was going smoothly, sophia had moved away because she couldnt handle seeing you everyday knowing what had happened and then last week she started calling me telling me she couldnt keep this from you anymore so we decided it was best to be honest about it. Y/N it was the biggest mistake ive ever made please lets work this out!” you were beyond upset , you didnt know what to do. you loved harry more than you’d ever loved anyone else but he had hurt you so badly. you couldnt forgive him for this , he’d gone too far. 

you stood up and wiped your tears away , you walked up to  your room and pulled down a suitcase. you started pulling all of your clothes out of the wardrobe and putting them in your suitcase. you heard harry come up the stairs but didnt stop. he walked in your room ” Y/N what are you doing?” you didnt look up ” im leaving” he started sobbing , youd never seen harry this broken before and it hurt you but you couldnt forgive him, he started to take your clothes out of your suitcase ” harry stop!” he didnt listen so you shoved his hand away ” i will not let you walk out of my life! i love you” you started to cry again ” harry you need to understand that you caused this , you broke me and you cant fix it with sorry. i need time and space and even then i might not be able to forgive you but atleast i will be able to live my life. dont hurt me more than you already have, let me figure out what i want and if im willing to forgive you” harry sat down and cried its like he just realised what he’d done and how badly it had affected him. he sat on the edge of your once shared bed and cried. you finished packing and sat down next to him, he reached out for your hand and held it tightly. you both sat there in silence , the only sounds that could be heard were the sobs escaping yours and harrys lips. you sat there with your head resting on his shoulder  , your hand in his and you just thought about all the memories you’d shared, they felt like just yesterday. sitting here like this with him it felt like nothing had changed but it had , everything had and thats something you had to deal with. you got up, kissed harry one last time and walked away from the house you once shared, the life you once had and the love you’d just lost.
