It was dark by the time Jaelyn stepped out of Chloe's apartment building, her mind bursting with flapper dresses, jazz, and peals, so much for a relaxing evening. Chloe had also asked Jaelyn to design her a flapper dress, for which Jaelyn was actually exited about.

She could already picture a knee-high dress of satin, with peals embedded into the top and a feathery boa. Fashion design was her one happy place when school started, and while it was hard, she agreed with Tony; they were kids, and yes she already had a plan for the future, but who were they to receive special treatment? They could have been homeschooled, but Jaelyn saw no purpose in that. School wasn't for learning, but for figuring out life skills, like how people dealt with a numerous amount of work and a job...and in her case- saving a few countries every other Wednesday.

She had a hand on the door of her silver Volvo when her supersonic ears caught something a little ways off, frowning she sighed and opened the door, tossing her backpack in and slamming the door shut again. Her dress fluttered around her knees as she walked down the pavement, the breeze blowing her hair back. Whatever the commotion was, several people were riled up about it.

She walked around the corner, her eyes widening as she found the street in disarray. People ran screaming in every direction as men in black, armed with machine guns ran around shouting. Jaelyn stared in shock for a few moments, snapping back into reality as a man stalked over to her, his gun aimed at her head.

"ON YOUR KNEES!" he screamed, reaching out for her.

Jaelyn caught his wrist, easily snapping his arm back; he bellowed as a clean snap sounded from his arm.

"What is this?!" Jaelyn demanded to know, her icy eyes glinting.

The man spat at her feet, which did nothing at all for Jaelyn. She swung her foot around to connect with his face, sending him to the ground in a flailing blur.

"Who orchestrated this?!" she yelled in his ear," Hive?"

He said nothing, but her eye caught his fingers inching toward his gun. Snarling, she kicked it out of his hand and he took advantage of the distraction and grabbed her hair, wrenching her head back. She leapt back, ramming her feet into his chest and sending him back against a lamppost with a bit of added strength to knock him out. Tony would pay for the broken lamppost.

She conjured up one of her solid gold daggers in her right hand, next conjuring several more of herself, each threw a dagger at a different terrorist. The commotion still rampaged on even as the men fell bleeding, which Jaelyn was used to, but it made it harder to start the straggler that was now trying to slip off. She prepared to aim another dagger at him when she was suddenly knocked off her feet, her back slamming into the ground.

She managed to find a foot standing near her and swiped her legs under her attacker, while conjuring another dagger to whip around and stab him with, Tony Stark made his entrance.

"Goin' somewhere buddy?" he asked, his suit hovering in the sky with about a dozen weapons pointed at the straggler.

"Finally," Jaelyn muttered, getting to her feet, turning to find the other guy gone.

Smart of him, she thought, swiping the electro-bracelet from her wrist and snapping it harshly around the one remaining terrorist's wrist.

"Don't even try it," she instructed as he tried to reach for the gun lying on the ground, she knew the drill: if you get captured, kill yourself so they can't get any information from you.

The man snarled, but he wasn't a match for electric handcuffs, they soon knocked him out.

"Not bad, Jae," Tony called down as his weapons retracted back into a suit," This is happening all over the city."
