Ivy stalked out of the elevator practically ready to kick someone's ass. She and Tristan had gotten their car jumped by Spiderman, who'd gave them the message that Bucky Barnes had been taken into federal custody by the U.N., not only that, but Tanya and Jaelyn had been taken into custody as well. Of course, knowing the U.N., they probably took her teammates without even thinking about it. And Bucky- Bucky probably hadn't been in the city two minutes before they took him.
"Hey, hey, hey!" Peter tried to keep ahead of her, still in his spidey-suit, with his mask in his hand.
"Ivy!" he hissed, holding out an arm.
She took no notice and ducked beneath him, Tristan on her heels. Tony was next and he successfully barricaded the glass door where a very official blonde women sat at a glass conference table having a very heated discussion with Pepper Potts.
"Uh- that's not happening," he said, crossing his arms over his chest.
"They've got my sister and your daughter, Tony!" Ivy hissed.
"Yeah, and I'm trying to keep it from our god-squad so they don't come in here and smite the place!" Tony snapped," You're here to represent the Avengers, act like it."
Ivy narrowed her eyes, but fell silent as Tony fixed her with a glare.
"Thank you," he said, opening the door and gesturing for her to enter.
Tristan followed after her, crossing his arms in frustration as Tony shot him a look.
"Ah." The blonde women talking with Pepper instantly ended their conversation, looking up at Ivy.
"Have a seat, Miss Wolf," she said in clipped tone," You too, Mr. Stark."
Ivy glanced at Tristan before sitting at the end of the table, Tony standing behind her.
"I can already see that neither of you have any respect for me," the women stated, raising her eyebrows skeptically.
Tristan snorted, earning himself a sharp look from his father.
"It would help if we knew exactly who you were," Ivy said, watching as Peter came to stand on her other side.
The women smiled slightly. "I'm Gene Skitsovi," she told her," I'm a representative for the World Security Council."
"The World Security Council?" Tristan repeated, his eyebrows raised," Great."
The newly established World Security Council wasn't big on enhanced individuals, which Ivy knew growing up, but they hadn't intervened like this in years.
Gene glanced at Tristan quickly," Is there a problem, Mr. Stark?"
As Tristan opened his mouth to most-likely snap something vulgar, Ivy cut him off with a very forced reply.
"What Tristan means to say is that we know the World Council doesn't particularly favor enhanced individuals," she told Gene.
"Can you blame us?" Gene asked," Bruce Banner alone puts millions of people at risk wherever he goes."
"We've actually fixed that," Tony interrupted," We've developed wrist bands that will keep the Gama rays at bay until we need him to Hulk out."
"And what about Loki?" Gene looked back at Ivy," Your father nearly brought an army of aliens to take over the planet and I imagine he still could."
"I'm quite aware," Ivy replied coolly," However it's been almost twenty years since then, and I'd say he's more then made up for that."
Gene sighed impatiently," Miss Wolf, my point is that we can not just stand by and allow the safety of the world to be placed in the hands of people who could very-well destroy us."
