My name is Elizabeth.... well that's all of my name you need to know. I am also guardian of water, not to brag but, yeah I am. I live in a friends house, occasionally I go through the portal in our backyard and have sleepovers in another dimension. My life is sort of, crazy but even more.
The journal I'm writing in right now, it once was my mother's. My mother went out into the world one day,she didn't return. But before she left, she left a box and hid it under my bed. I found it the day she left. I was going to tell Dad about it, but then I found the note.
Dear Elizabeth,
This is my most precious items of my time. I left to go out into the world to find adventure (don't tell your father). I don't plan on coming back, not expecting to at least. Here contains pictures of everything I love, my antiques, and finally my journal. This journal contains all my adventures (also don't tell your father. He thought he was marrying a mature princess, he was wrong). Anyway, I want you to use this on your own secret adventures. Goodbye Elizabeth.Yeah, kinda a depressing thing to mention, but it's true! I did use it on my adventure with Aurora. She must have wanted to know what's inside, I never thought of that. After Mom left a huge war broke out, bad timing. It was the first time I was really in charge, it was really hard. Enough with my old world, it's my past. I'll describe the crazy people I call friends.
First there's Aurora, she was the first person from the outside world I met. I wouldn't say I was stalking her, just watching her from a distance. I was sitting on top of a tree as she ran under it. I was trying to get a closer look at her, so I leaned in. Water poured down from the leaves, I forgot it rained last night. She never found out, at least I think she didn't
Then there's Kelsey and Lauren. I met Kelsey a few years ago when her father and my mother signed a contract agreeing that we wouldn't attack each other. We were 4 in what is regular time here. She had a foam arrow, I remember that because she shoot it and it hit me in the face. I didn't hurt, but I was confused on what an arrow was. Lauren, I don't really know much about her, but she was evil. Now she still has that little evil in her, but we all do. She's also quiet, but funny because she messes up sometimes. Yeah, quality friends.
Kelsey called me from outside.
"Hey you coming it's me and you against Aurora and Lauren. Our goal is in Pennsylvania, their's is in Maine. Let's go, let's go!"
She was talking about our game of guardian football. It was like football except our goals are states away, and we can use our powers. It usually ends with at least one person on the ground in some state. Whichever team wins get medals, we trade off who wins pretty much every time. The best part is now that now that the world knows about us, no one stares when we fly past their house! It's almost like a mix of football and quittage.
Outside Lauren and Aurora are getting their wings out, we all have wings. Aurora, Kelsey, and mine are all like cooler versions of butterfly wings that glow our element color. Lauren's are more like bat wings that have a shadowy glow to them. The game begins minutes later. It is just a normal football, we're just not normal.
"Ready, GO!" Aurora has the ball, and Kelsey is chasing after her. Kelsey uses vines to steal the ball, tosses it to me, and I surf away (magic is awesome). Basically it moves so fast it's hard to describe, just know that when I describe this part. Aurora jumps in front of me and uses a light beam towards my eyes, I trip, the ball goes to Aurora, Aurora throws it to Lauren. Lauren flies into the air, and leaves for Maine. Right now I think we're in New York.
So she's flying, we're all flying after her. Lauren glides into the woods and becomes invisible. However Kelsey can see anything in the woods, since it's her area of power. Kelsey tackles Lauren and they both tumble to the ground. Aurora and I are left now, she grabs the ball and makes a run for it. The hard part is she can move faster than light, so not fair. Here's the scene, she running faster than light, and I'm flying through clouds. Typical Saturday.
We're in Maine now, Aurora's going, I'm going, and Kelsey and Lauren are probably talking in the woods. You can see the goal from above, Aurora sees it too. I dive down doing back-flips for style, we're going to lose anyway so why not? Amazingly Aurora gets hit and the ball goes flying. It landed in the goal area, they win, it wasn't much of a surprise. When the ball goes in it teleports us back to the house. Kelsey and Lauren won last week, so Kelsey gives Aurora her medal.
"Good job girls, but watch out next week, I'm watching you!" Kelsey said
"But I might be on your team next week!"
"Oh yeah, right" And with that said it was lunch, again typical Saturday. That's just a taste of my world, magical and fun, but sometimes magic can lead to trouble.
