"So you think she'll wake up?"
"Oh yeah, this has happened to us before. We fainted everything went black. Then we sorta woke up and everything was still dark, but we heard people's conversations. Oh wait, Elizabeth, can you hear us?"
I woke up, still a little dizzy. Laszlo, Aurora, Kelsey, Lauren, and Ally were standing there. I was going to start bursting out with questions. I may or may not have....
"Yeah, I can hear you."
"I knew it, see this happens a lot!"
"But um, where am I? Where were you Laszlo? Is Brooke defeated? You explain NOW, there's no backing out of this!" Everyone, but Ally looked at me normal. I could do this sometimes, but at least I'm not as bad as my sister who has a tantrum every 5 minutes.
"As I told you before I was in India. You know when Brooke separated us. I was told you went to Paris, and I went to India. Different continents. Right now you are in the castle inside your world. The basement part, it's why this doeesn't look familiar."
"We have a basement in the castle?" They all nodded and Laszlo continued.
"And as for Brooke, she's somewhere out there. When you fainted I shot another arrow and it hit her. She didn't die, which is good, but she ran away. She mentioned that she won't take over the world anymore. She promised, now she has that on her."
"Okay, so how did I get here? I mean she left I fainted, then what?"
"After Brooke left you were still falling in midair. So before you hit the ground. I flew over and caught you. Just don't try to think of it as much." I smiled at Laszlo when he said this. I wondered what would have happen if I didn't know him. If I didn't talk to his aunt that day.
"One last question. How did you get here in Connecticut? Did Ally have something to do with it? She did come screaming 'I found him, I found him'."
Ally and Laszlo exchanged glances. Ally started to explain. "So in Russia I did find my parents. They were surprised for about 1 minute and then they continued with the traveling. I was just something they had to drag on and hide. Then the 3 years went by. Our family went on another world travel, but this time with me. Our 5th stop was to India and I saw him. Based on how you described him, I knew who he was." I blushed when Laszlo looked at me. I bet he was thinking about how I described him.
"Then we started talking and I'll explain later what he was doing there for 3 years. But we got planes tickets, we may or may not have stolen the money fro my parents. Anyway the plane landed and everything was still on ice like in the rest of the world so we knew Brooke was still fighting. I found the house and distracted Brooke as Laszlo got ready. Soon everything else we explained happened and now we're in the present." Ally finished the story.
I had no words. I mean what are you supposed to say to something like that! The silence was almost painful to sit through. Everything was still, everything was over.
"Could we go back into the real world?" Everyone looked around, and mostly everyone nodded. Walking through the castle was more nervous than when I had to go to court. I had no idea how long we had been in there, and I had no idea if Brooke would keep her promise.
We got to the big glass doors. They still shimmered, but the feeling of opening them made me feel sick to my stomach. Kelsey opened the doors and outside.... there was no ice. It was Summer and the sun was out. I had no idea who was more happy. Me, Aurora, or Kelsey. Me because now I'm not a suspect on the great freezing of the world and it's over. Aurora because the sun was back and normal. Or Kelsey because all the animals felt normal in their habitat again and the grass was back. The feeling of the warmth of the sun that moment was unforgettable.
We all ran out the doors and just felt like kids in a candy store. Which we can relate to, we can be considered kids. Soon the games started.
"Tag, you're it!" Everyone was laughing and running around, we just didn't want to play freeze tag. I think we've had enough of freezing for a while. We all just hung out and had an awesome time! Ally didn't have to be stuck with her parents and Laszlo didn't have to deal with his aunt. I wonder on how she was doing. Wait, what about the rest of the world? One minute everything is frozen, next the world is normal and they'll just pretend nothing happened.
"Laszlo."
"Yeah."
"Do you think you have to go back to California now? Like because the world is normal. Does this make it the end?" We were all lying down staring at the sky. And silence came again, I little less, but still it was silent.
"I think so, do you think my aunt will be mad I left?"
"Based on her attitude, yeah. But who cares you just did this whole thing! I don't think you should care if you missed a few years of singing for our adventure!"
"Yeah, and if all else fails. You can move back to your house in India." Ally added.
"I thought we were gonna explain that later!" Laszlo replied, Ally laughed and we just forgot the comment. Hide-and-seek, tag, a magic football game, we did it all. If everyone did have to go back, this was the moment we were gonna remember.
During hide-and-seek round 8 a little surprise happened. The real Vari appeared, blue hair and all.
"Hi, guys. Oh, by the way Elizabeth I forgot the tell you I love your hair!" Everyone else either smiled or nod, they noticed too. "But anyway ALL of you have been called by the supreme guardians to sky court. They want to talk about what has happened recently. See you there." With that Vari vanished once again. Aurora explained what sky court was and how it can be good or bad.
I felt for this we didn't have to dress up, we could go as ourselves. After Laszlo and Ally realized what it was, we were off. Sky court was the same. All of the supreme guardians were there, and they were actually smiling.
