Elizabeth: Guardian of Water

Chapter 7: Connections

Elizabeth and I had a lot of talking to do. We talked in the castle and about the future. We talked about crushes we used to have. And for the first time I told somebody about MY crush. She giggled and fell off the bed. We're so clumsy, and we can both agree. Laszlo got a part time job already. He was now the entertainer of my family. I keep trying to make him dress up, but he never wants to. All of this happened in just 3 hours.

"So your saying you went into a cloud, fought in a cloud, fell from the skies to the Earth, and now live with the people you just met and one of them is someone you were going to kill?"

"We, now that you say it like that- yes. Oh not me only, you will too."

"Wow, can I brag about this to future Aurora?

"Yup, full permission. Oh don't forget in the future when she comes in, just remember it rains. Yeah so don't lean on the trees." I said.

She looked at me blankly, but smiled again. We started doing the dance party song, she knew all words and moves! Later we got hungry, I'm always hungry. Yeah, I'm kinda hyper. I HAD A DOUGHNUT! Anyway, we went up to Laszlo and started asking him sooooooo many questions

Who is your favorite singer? What's your favorite game? Do you like chocolate? VANILLA'S BETTER! I think we annoyed him too much, eh. It's fun to annoy him, he just goes with it, attempts to answer, then leaves. But we just laugh, we both know what we're thinking- food. But there's also something else on my mind. I was thinking about how this whole time thing was to get fixed. Ugh, but I don't want to ruin the complete life of myself.

Finally it was dinner time, all I remember seeing was the chocolate cake. That must of been what Laszlo only saw too. It was gone.... pretty fast. I started wondering if this is where I was gonna stay. If that when Aurora came she'd have to bring two of us and Laszlo. Would this affect the entire future? Okay, maybe that one was a bit dramatic.

I couldn't stand it anymore. The question I thought not even the other me would think! I grabbed Laszlo and headed out the door stopping to grab cookies. I stomped out the door. Laszlo had a weird look on his face like 'what are you doing'? I spread out my wings and Laszlo did the same. 

"Come on we're going to Kelsey's place and Connecticut!"

"Why?"

"'Cause, we need more people on this case. And even though I can't fully trust them right now, they're the only people that are deep in on this. And for all I know Brooke could be a cupcake right now! Oh, you're coming with me! And before you answer it's because you said you would and there's no backing out!"

We flew across the sky again more worrying now. It's like that feeling, you're okay, but you get sick to your stomach thinking this is the way your life is going. I stay calm and fly. Laszlo notices something different in me, but turns away when I look at him. Just keep flying like Dory and just keep swimming. 

When we land Kelsey is by Midnight petting her. She's so good with animals. I once had a hamster. ONCE is the key word.

"Elizabeth, what brings you here? Oh and um, who's the boy?"

"Hey, Kelsey. This is Laszlo he's kinda my partner in time travel."

"Time travel? Elizabeth what's going on?"

I tell her about the world that was on ice. I tell her about Vari and the shattering on the necklace. I also tell her about Laszlo and how I could trust him. She doesn't believe me at this part because Laszlo has left again. My eyes widened so much as he almost trampled over me on a horse! he had the bow and arrow and was shooting at targets. (Sigh) Such an attention span. He's on a beautiful horse. Brown with ocean blue eyes. In fact I've seen this horse before.

"Hey, is that Savanna?"

Kelsey looks at me with confusion. Then she remembers what I said before about tie travel. It's pretty hard to ignore. She smiles, still not speaking. I wonder what her smile says. It's more of a stop scaring me smile. I talked to her, she didn't understand. I talked to her again. A few minutes later she had her angel wings out. They glowed a lime- like green. Then the sky was ours.

"Um, is it weird that I have the same wings that two girls do? Isn't it weird I have wings at all?" Laszlo asked. Kelsey and I smiled and laughed. I think Laszlo looked funny with wings on, but I didn't answer him. He knew what I was thinking. Weird, but cool.

Connecticut was down below. It wasn't completely frozen yet like the rest of the world is going to be. Aurora's house was right there, but I had an argument to myself whether to go in or not. I don't even though why. I had no problem with Kelsey and telling her my story, but why is it different. But I couldn't tell Lauren because, well she is my main enemy right now. Finally forcing myself, I knocked on the door. Aurora answered looking at us weird.

Aurora took the whole story really well. even when I got to the Vari part. I knew she trusted the supreme guardians with her life, but she seemed to understand me. She nodded when I spoke and she acted like she knew even if she didn't.

"Well, I don't really know what to do right now. Um, maybe we can talk to the other supreme guardians or something.." Aurora's voice trailed off. We discussed everything with all of us participating. It was going really well. And that's when Brooke showed up.
